Re: pro action bolts found under machine

So you have model A105QS purchased from Argos which is the basic 1000rpm spin 5kilo machine they had on offer

Assuming you need just the following and that the inner drum etc. are all good then the spares only are £171.25 plus VAT. Shipping would be on top of this so total price would be around £210 ish to supply the parts only.

    Tub front half
    Tub rear half
    Tub seal

You can currently purchase the latest variant from Argos today for £169.99 including VAT which will give you the same sized machine but with a 1200rpm spin capability a 6kilo Max load ability.

It’s a no brainer to me!

    Regards

    Yep

He specialises in setting up and selling a franchise idea which on payment of the fee tends to deliver very little back to you.

A check a companies house reveals 34 Limited companies he was / is involved in over the past 11 years with 19 of those going tits up at some point.

Make up your own mind but I wouldn’t go near it with Go Locals Pole, to coin a phrase!

Open the door and it will be on the sticker at the top of the chassis.

It will be the really long number

Multiple variants of this unit, we are going to need the sixteen digit serial number to work out any parts/technical for you.

There was / is a known problem with Rosieres selector switches but without the Serial no I cannot tell if your model is included.

    Electrolux No full spin?

    Interesting Andy

Espares and Connect being the same company, one would have thought if one could supply then so could the other, then again it is Connect and as your post advises, selling it to a retail customer makes for more profit than selling it to you in the trade!

    Gotta love Connect don’t you!

I can price it for you to be upset at but I will need the full model and serial number to ensure I look up the correct parts fitted to your unit.

Front lower counterweight has sheered off the tub. The unit is scrap as the cost of the parts will make it uneconomical to repair.

This fault is common when a unit has been used whilst under loaded.

Re: whats it worth in the end ?

There are loads of ways to value the asset unfortunately and just like talking to an accountant each way will provide a varying answer and also it will vary by trade.

A very rough guide, which we use to determine if we will look further is 6x Net Profit – debt, after stock at cost is removed.

We have a right laugh at those trying to sell a business whom have spent their time reducing the NP figure to reduce paying Corp Tax etc. because it effectively means the business ain’t worth squat afterwards.

    Best wishes

Re: Bush AE66DCA main oven fault – help please

    Pete hi

If the elements are fine then it suggests the selector switch is likely to be the cause of the issue.

It is possible the stat could be at fault although when this fails on this model it either overheats as you say or it only hears a little, usually upto around 50 degrees.

Your problem is going to be getting hold of the spares as Argos/Homebase do not supply spares for out of warranty appliances.

Part number for the selector switch is 32001426

Part number for the stat is 32013060

Confidence and competence are two separate things!

I have no doubt you have the former but from your posts I seriously suspect you lack the latter.

Hoover still show that part number (07003419) as available at the moment. Don’t know about stock levels though

    Yes

Get someone in whom knows what they are doing.

Safety is the primary thing here. Swapping parts around you don’t know about, know if they are compatible or not, especially safety devices is NOT safe.
