    Re: Local trade rivalry?

I was refering to more locally than the whole of somerset ie my town. i refer sales to certain ones, refrigeration to another, spares to another. i then get gas work back, makes i fix that some dont, and sometimes a referal when they cant get there etc.

i wouldnt go as far as to say its idylic and there is some i wouldnt ever pass stuff onto.

Alex i had an enquiry the other week from a person at pawlett and i suggested they called you, was a gas cooker if i remember correctly. I only come as down as far as highbridge.

Do they know you pass them work? Around where i am it tends to lean towards each helping other out in varying ways. Depends on the repore one may have with ones rivals?

Ok so you spoke to li on thu morning i take it and he said what exactly???

Im waiting nrly 2 mins to access any page on this server atm and dont give me the nonsense about how its down to local settings or local issues as i have read in other threads. Its tedious and boring to wait for pages to load, its worse than when 56kbs was the norm !! Lets have some real concrete answers please instead of what is looking like stalling comments, i would say alot more but wont at this time.

ok nope im not spoiling for an argument at all. The basic principals are that when you see the amount of hits on a site increase you look at it and say, right ok if things develop at this rate then we will need more bandwidth and depedning dedicated hardware to the job thats unfolding. Yep thats being done even though its taking time. My point is that if IT pro’s are involved and being paid for their services as pro’s then this should be done and dusted along time ago. And its easy to be fobbed off with techno bable as we ALL know 🙂

Makes no difference to how long someone has paid anything to wether they can make a comment on a given subject or not. Or am i wrong ? 🙂

    Re: VAT De-registration

basically you charge at the same rate as if your were adding vat to your jobs, this compensates for the vat amount you cant claim back unless you have an awfull lot of vat deductable expenses you will make more profit.

simple maths tbh if your main core of business is with person who want to claim the vat back then its always better to be no vat registered.

well didnt the funds from subscriptions lend itself to doing the whole project as thats what i thought as i said earlier was the case.

Maybe its a case of bung whoever a few more quid to get the job done ?

It aint that difficult and people can be easily led to believe it is 😉
