I don’t order spares for Diplomat badged Beko or Stoves appliances from AWS, I know it is hard to believe but I get most of these parts from CDSL and save a fortune on Andy Willey’s prices.

Re: e1 on fisher paykel dishwasher

    Hi Ally,

Fault codes on the dishwasher either start with a F or a U
I assume yours is F1, if it is, and it shows on both drawers then it is a leak fault.

It will be a faulty heater, same as the previous one. The sensor is part of the heater plate.

Re: Working on Dual fuel range cooker – Gas Safe registered?

Look at this previous post and you will see a couple of quotes that I have taken from Gassafe bulletins.

    general-trade-forum/working-gas-cookers-information-t66145-15.html

I suppose you need to look at each job and see if it can be done without any impact on the gas side.

The same question keeps popping up now and then and if you look to the related topics below you will get your answer.

The bottom line is that as long as you don’t disconnect any gas carrying part of the cooker then there is nothing to stop you fitting a stat.

Just read his post from last night with this snippet in it.

Does he realise that he is shooting himself in the foot, I proposed moderation of the thread to calm it down a bit, Ade would just delete all posts he did not like……

washdoctor wrote:I agree John… FACTS ARE: WTA Rules are made up as they go along, if you moderate this, then you’re as bad as them.

I don’t see how you come to that assumption, I will not delete posts in this thread only remove the parts that I think are offensive.

There is a difference between moderation and censorship, I have been a Moderator on here for about 8 years and can count the posts that I have deleted on one hand ( apart from the dozens of spam posts ). On the other hand I have changed and edited lots of posts for being abusive, racist and downright slanderous. I have never deleted a post because the I disagreed with the content.

I think you have hit it on the head there Alex, a quick look on Companies house tells us that he has not filed accounts since 2008 and is under a proposal to strike off order.

I think members of the WTA will see what has been done so far and then look at the absurd personal attacks on you and see them for what they are. Do not let the bugger get to you Lawrence, the vast bulk of us appreciate the work that you and the rest of the team are doing and can also see the results.
