Recently moved the office account to bethere and got a deal with 24 meg down and 2.5 meg up for £22 a month incl. There customer service seems spot on and am constantly getting emails warning me of maintenance outages scheduled for 3 in the morning. Also got an email from them last week telling me I have a days free internet because it was my birthday!!! 😆

No the ones they had were shipped from the USA and had a hand built feel to them, I never noticed any manufacturers labels on them.

    Re: Whirlpool Dryer from USA

Whirlpool do not supply this model in the UK. Uk models will be wired differently and do have 230v motors fitted.

I have however worked on quite a few of the US versions which are in the UK which used to be supplied to US forces and embassy personnel and all of these had a large external transformer so that they could work.

Re: Switch on my Whirlpool Generation 2000 oven

If you cannot feel the button depressing them the button switch is knackered, if it does press in but wont change the settings then it is usualy because the oven mains has been switched off which will bring up stop” in the display when switched back on. To get it to move off stop the main oven selector switch has to be in the off position and what i wrote above applies.

If the button switch is jammed post up the 12nc number which is on the r/h side of the door frame and I will get you the part number. 12nc number starts with 85….. and is 12 digits long.

Re: Switch on my Whirlpool Generation 2000 oven

Turn the main oven knob to the off position
Press small centre button till digits lights up in bottom r/h corner of display
Turn right hand knob to adjust to correct time
    Press centre knob to set
    Oven should work normaly now

    Re: hob hood height

Many moons since I did my gas training but IIRC

    1) if it going above a gas hob then the minimum height should be 750mm

    2) if it is going above an electric hob the minimum height should be 650mm

or if the hob manufacturers handbook says different then follow the handbook, instructions in the handbook take precedence.
