Possible lid lock, I have saw a few where either the lock is either knackered or the moulding it sits in drops slightly. If this happens it will allow the machine to go through the program and jam just before the spin as the lid has not locked.

easy way to tell is to wait until it stops and see if you can lift the lid, if you can reach in and under the lock and pull upwards, you should feel the cover snapping back into place, the lid will then lock and your done.

    Hi Brian,

Part number is correct and there are no service bulletins that I can see.I have saw a few pressostats that have changed from the round shape to a a new slimline oval shape but the connections are the same.

Assuming the correct 12nc is 851070015000 then the timer part number is 481990500535

The bad news is it is for service partners only and is password protected.

It’s a Fisher and Paykel dishdrawer with a frock on.

Take the basket and spray arm out and unlock the metal plate below, then undo the motor rotor, both of these are twist fit. You will probably find the motor rotor is seized or a blockage in the housing below.

Jim is correct, The NTC is just a posh stat.

I recall a certain engineer at Whirlpool training course in Paddock Wood answering this question with “nice tiny component” during a test, I suppose he was right 😆

There was another reason for this happening but I cannot recall what it was, I will try and find out.

IIRC the problem is related to the soap powder. For this machine you have to use twin tub powder.

Re: Cannot find model number on Whirlpool washing machine

Most parts for these machines are generic so if you tell us what is wrong we might be able to diagnose the fault and give you a part number.

Lift the lid up and the model number can be found on the top of the cabinet between the lid hinges.

    Re: Whirlpool AWZ6303 T/Dryer

    Hi Jim,

Take the plastic panel off below the dryer door, there is a stat in there that will cause this fault. On sios it is in position 5570.

Don’t know about the motor stutter though, one I haven’t saw before.
