sorry Jim was sent to me as an email and I never noticed the US spelling. 😳 In Scotland we only have two colours, Grey and dark grey.

Well done Alex for spotting the problem so soon, wish we did. The problem we had was we were busy at the time and could not find time to analyse the work properly, a mistake we will not make again.

We did work for GBDAR and killed it dead after 6 months. We found that IIRC about 40{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of all calls were exchanged through lack of parts supply, worth factoring into your costs.

Also beware of parts costs and hassle getting credits for parts on cancelled calls.

    Ken,

In principle it looks like a good way to spend the cash but can you let us know how many repairs@ agents are subscribers and how many aren’t.

If the bulk are not then I can see some objections being voiced as soon as you post the idea in the forum.

    Re: sat nav

Just got some new phones from the very nice people at O2 and ordered XDA orbits with satnav built in, we need new toys and got them for nowt.. 😆
Must be one of the best packages out there. Comes with Copilot live satnav and once installed I checked out all the new roads around here and it had them all in the database, it even picked up the new roundabout outside the new BSH warehouse in Kettering and it has only been operational for a couple of months. It also has TMC codes installed so you can avoid all the motorway hold ups.

so far so good but it gets better!!! You install the software on your desktop as well as the PDA and plan your route on the desktop and download the route to the pda. You can also plan your route on the copilot website and have it set up so that you can be tracked live. There is also the option built in of sending you a message via the website, useful if another job comes in??
Far better package with a lot more features than Tomtom

    Hi Lawrence,

Check the drain hose on the drawer that you changed the support arm on, once arm goes it is not uncommon to get a pin hole due to the hose rubbing.
Apart from that all you have is either the heater/motor seals or salt chamber seal.
If I come across one like this I usualy run both drawers with the door off and can spot the leak easily.

Point I am making though is that we are deciding to spend money belonging to the masses without their knowledge. Surely we should be asking the subscibers for a vote on spending subs this way. I know the cost is bugger all but we might get some grief if it was open knowledge later that we spent funds in this way.
