    Re: polo shirts ~embroidered

Phone Nathan at Worksafe Direct on 01536-203888 we have had a few orders through him with our logo, the Whirlpool logo and UK Whitegoods logos all embroidered, total cost is about £8 per shirt ( including the 3 logos )

IIRC the minimum order is 6 items for embroidery work.

Dont know where you got that snippet from. I have worked on these for Whirlpool for the last 10 years and find that 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the american washers and dryers are in nursing homes and hairdressers, my company probably does 20 or so a week.
I have also never seen or heard of the formula you are talking about.

The most common cause is what Steve said above about venting, these appliances need a 5″ metal vent hose and I see them installed with 4″ domestic type hoses all the time,

So if it has a 5″ metal hose and the stats have been changed I would check the airflow. If it is poor look at the dryer fan, take the fan cover off and spin the fan, if the fan spins and the motor is still, the bush in the centre of the fan has come loose.

    PS

Just a thought, they are allowing the dryer to complete the cooldown cycle, if not and the dryer is in constant use all day it will cause the same problem.

    Re: CDA

Just got a very nice letter from Mr. Kershaw thanking all for the positive response and helpful suggestions received :rotl:

The bit I love is that he now says that for cash calls CDA will charge the customer over the phone £59.57 excl. and anyone doing the job has to bill CDA £50 excl. for the pleasure of working on these appliances. So in effect he has climbed down from £19 per job to £9.99 The best bit is that if the customer has not got a credit card he expects the engineer to pick up the £69.99 cheque and post it on to CDA along with their invoice for £50.

He goes on to say that the reason for doing this is because CDA give all the parts free and that they have to pay call centre staff to book the calls, surely these costs should be included in the selling price of the machine?.

I’m glad to be out of it!!!.

    Re: CDA

The letter arrived in a polythene A4 envelope containing the new CDA appliance catalogue. Some agents could easily have thrown it to one side not knowing that a letter of such importance was enclosed??

    Re: CDA

We got the letter today and phoned CDA to tell them that we would not accept anymore calls. An hour later a fax came through for a cash call and the girl in the office did not know we had stopped CDA calls so called the customer to book. When she told the customer our labour rate the customer replied that CDA said that the max we could charge was £50.

Faxed the job back to CDA and heard nothing from them yet.

If you disconnect the power on these ovens they will always say “stop” when switched on,
