    Re: Diplomat APN8512

It’s an APM8512 and there are two versions depending on date of production, it will definately be a module faulty, check model number again ans serial number, will be APM8512 or APM8512-1.

    Re: Yell.Com

Stopped all our advertising with Yell book and Yell.com nearly two years ago, saved over 4K a year and our cash customers still find us, as with Alex I advertise on Google and other search engines, mainly because we deal mostly with built in appliances and Gas Range cookers.

Have noticed though that our customers are a lot younger so I think the point of the older customer using the Yell book is probably a fair assumption, dont see many PCs in our older customers homes !! 😉

Re: Just noticed this pop up…

Agents will get their uaual rate for normal CDSL jobs, so we dont get the direct out of warranty calls from customers through Repaircare anymore from Currys, Caple, De Dietrich etc.

The trouble is you cannot tell from the job sheet if its out of warranty call as they will give the job a temporary insurance number, I have done about 6 of these calls in the last week and just guessed they were out of warranty calls by the age and type of appliance, but with parts included its a good deal for the customer even though they only guarantee the repair for 3 months not 12 months as we would.

As far as I know as long as you do not break a Gas joint then you are ok, but what would you do if you turned up and smelt Gas or how would you know if there was a problem with the installation/pipework or ventilation? 😕

    Re: Nardi d/w

At a guess Chris its possibly Merloni, SMEG used to do a push down button programmer but I dont think its SMEG.

Might be able to identify it with a picture of filter/bottom arm assembly.
