It’s the module. However I’ve since discovered that you can cure this by replacing the large grew capacitor. So if you fit s new mod, keep old one repair it.

ive had a similar thing with a bosch display flashing continuously.
turned out to be capacitor on the board. cant remember its value. ive repaired a couple now for that. however all-off im not sure.

applying a 12volt battery to coil the relay was clicking but not switching. soldered in a new relay and job done.

    once again many thanks

    Re: Rangemaster Dishwasher RDW459fi/sf

if this was a beko made machine then occasionally i get called to circuit boards where the heater relay has stuck in the on position. a good clue is switch it on at the panel and without selecting or starting a cycle, you will hear the water in the heater start to boil. checking the relay would of course apply to other brands but not as common. i believe yours is a Haier

    hope it helps

I normally use my long nose pliers opened out and apply very gentle pressure until it starts to unscrew.

sometimes the hinge pin drops out. the door may still appear to operate ok but is actually slightly out of alignment. other than that ive never had many leaks from these doors.

I know you say you’ve had baskets out, but did you try it with them out? I got suckered once by the big grab handle on lower basket. it had gradually bent outwards putting pressure on door which was ok until it heated up. simply bent it back inwards and problem solved. had it at least three times since.

from memory 2007 seems to ring a bell. you could also dismantle the one you’ve got and read it off the bearing shell.

    hi dave

please may I have a copy of the manual. I’m at one of these which is just three weeks out of warranty. I cant decide if its the motor or the board as this has just happened since a power cut.
    many thanks
