    Re: miele t494c dryer

did you have to undo the six bolts for the removal of the backplate before you gain access to these two hidden bolts?

yes i could but customer wants to fit it himself and it would mean cutting and recrimping the correct spades.

    Re: inesit wd10 not heating

found the fault in the dry fan and resoldered the spade so the fan is now okay and running.
The cut out was .07M ohm between the two connections. I shorted it out and all the machine would do was continually click round and round. I disconnected both connections to open circuit and the fan came ON but no heat.
Can anyone confirm if the component near the heater is a cutout or nct. I suspect that here is another fault.

    Re: inesit wd10 not heating

is that what it was fixed next to the heater.it did have a resistance but not open circuited so i thought that it was an nct. probably it is a saftey cut out. i should have checked. Thanks for that.

the e nr number is S4133w0gb/20 fd 7602.
the customer says that its a 4 button switchbank. she has already got her own engineer to fit it, if the part can be sourced.

it only required the fan. It took about 20 min before the sensor signaled the pcb to start it up.

It was the door switch. job now sorted.
the pcb part number 6190985. exchange price of £121 plus vat. it has EPWL 300 KD stamped on it. QER have said that they have done successful repairs to this pcb in the past.
