    yeah your right sorry!
however all the machine is constantly doing is running the drain pump. as if it was in flood mode. its not though as theres no base on the machine never mind a float.
unless they have been removed in the past?but noone has been to this machine in 5 years apparently

    Re: de dietrich oven

My engineer is positive that it is not the self clean “pyroclean”, assembly. He has described it as an actuator situated on the right hand side of the door frame which should get pressed by the door when shut.

    Re: de dietrich oven

The door switch required operates the fan oven when the door is closed and turns the fan and circo element off when door is opened. I don’t think its got anything to do with the self clean lock.

I have not seen the oven as i’m supplying to an Electrical contractor.
I would rather supply the correct part until all avenues have been tried. Surely someone out there has heard of this make? Whatever it actually is.

Re: halifax/ Bank of Scotland stopping free buisiness bankin

This is a copy of the letter I’ve sent to BBC Moneybox.
I run a small domestic appliance business. I’d been with Barclays for 25 years and paid about £50 per quarter. The halifax/ bank of Scotland, encouraged me to transfer my buisness to them with the promise of free business bank “Forever”.The only charge to me would be 57p per cheque if my balance dropped below £5000.I only write 2 or 3 cheques per month so it was good value.I knew about free offers which only last for 6 months or a year and The Halifax asured me that it would be Forever.
Changing was not as simple as I’d been advised but eventually everything got sorted.Six months later they have advised me that if my balance falls below £5000 there will be a charge of £15 per month. They have only given me 6 weeks notice.i rang them to complain but got nowhere. I asked them to note my complaint three times before customer relations eventually said they would forward my complaint but they added that they would only repeat what they had already told me.
i have now received their written response. The reason given for their sudden change of policy is, “Recently there has been a significant investment made into the branch network therefore a decision has been made to migrate from a direct service to a branch based facility”.??
The lady from the Halifax branch who encouraged me to move to them , “feels awful about what has happened”.
They were still advertising their, “Free Banking Forever ” offer only days before.I feel like they are misleading the public.

Is this information available and where from?
Ref to 11RC—-is this a fauly code? there is no display on this model only one neon light above the start button.

I suppose you mean the PCB at the bottom. I could get the part number from ASD. anyone know if there is a refurbished pcb available?

Re: halifax/ Bank of Scotland stopping free buisiness bankin

    Thanks for your comments.
i did not understand, “I think they’ll all drop free banking due to the fact that people are looking at the charges and, successfully, reclaiming a lot of them as they are illegal under OFT rulings.”?
I’ve rang the Halifax this morning and told them how I have been mislead. They would not compromise except to say that I only needed to keep £5000 in the account at all times to receive fee banking. Previously I would only be charged 57p per cheque if my balance dropped below £5000.
I’ll check out Alliance and L.

    Re: Freezer Stat Ranco k56

An update. The freezer is Badged under Magnet but made by Bauknect or Whirlpool. The model is UF 727 with a serial number TR902000343. there is no 85 number available.
The part number via ASD is 4819 2712 8633. Its out of stock but could be in in 5 days.
Like a stated earlier I must have the correct stat as this machine’s plug and socket is directly behind this fully fitted freezer. customer needs to be able to turn it off while defrosting.
Ranco don’t do a Varifix equivelent, “I’ve rang them”, and the Danfoss has terminal 8 on its back making it too bulky for the stat housing.
Surely someone out there has this Ranco K56 stat under an Appliance care, AEG or some other part number.
