Odd indeed, it looks like an import thing where it’s duplicated when imported and reimported.
In fairness, retaining the attachments was one of the big hurdles that Sudeep had and we knew some would be lost. We didn’t realise there would be duplications.

That’s a pretty old one, a decade or more and if it is the ice maker unit that’s gone I think it’s obsolete now.

All I can suggest that would make sense to me at least, is there’s a broken wire or faulty plug to the display module. Finding it though might not be so easy.

OKay so, maybe this was me being a bit dumb but apparently, the “New Topics” menu item just beneath “Forums Home” up the top does just that.
It shows all new topics and all new posts across all forums.
I’ve not tested that as yet but a quick look would tend to indicate that it is correct.

Notifications and subscriptions in your control panel at the top is where you will find your threads.
The new threads thing we’re still working on as I used that as well.

It is there and it’ll be a cache of some kind as it shows up for me only when I use an incognito window in Chrome.

It might be a user group thing as well as there are options to disallow animated images on all.

No idea Jim, at a guess, something to do with the re-sizing of the image.

A bunch of stuff has been updated and honed so it should be improved.
Speed generally should be improved.
Search has been rebuilt, it should be way, way better than the old system which I know bugged a lot of people.
Avatars, you can now have a 200×200 image.
PM system now fully back online.
User groups should be pretty much sorted but I know there are still a few accounts that may have the odd issue but, easily solved usually in seconds. Knowing about it is the problem.
Trade forums are now completely hidden until you log in and have access, otherwise, you’d never know they were there.
Probably a bunch of other stuff I’ve forgotten. :S

Right so, PMs seem sorted and I’ve sorted some other little bits and bobs I picked up on.
I’ve now got it rebuilding the search index which will probably take a good few hours, there’s a fair bit to process in fairness. But it may go a bit slow till that completes, probably it’ll take about 3-6 hours, hopefully, done by morning so no-one will notice.
That should make the search a sh1ton better than it has been in the old system, which was a big problem I wanted to be fixed.
RSS feeds sorted also, by Sudeep.

Two choices.
Brute force and ignorance, hope it all turns out okay.
Get the whole pump out by pulling the machine out and get to it from the back after releasing the securing screws at the front (from memory), then take it apart from there, pump body off the back of the housing and so on.
