Hehe, I’ll call anyone a twat, including myself. You all know by now surely I do that, I shoot from the hip and that’ll be that. See the smiley, that kinda give the game up, I do a lot of it in jest and I take a joke as well.
As to NESN, see what I put there tonight. In the end NESN is better than the alternative, for now.
Just answer the bloody coments, we can take a slagging and so can you, we’re all big enough to take a ribbing and if the air’s cleared here far better. If you’ve a beef with me, just have a go I’m big enough to take care of myself as are all the others in here. It’s civil and generally well thought out so go for it.

And in further news it turns out that NESN didn’t pay that amount or money, or anywhere near it, to attend the TRIC awards.
However, rumour has it that a competitor did sponsor a table.
Funnily enough Mr Trubshaw was at the event.

Re: Choosing an American side-by-side Fridge Freezer
Kenmore is indeed a US only brand.
Most of the US style side-by-sides you’ll see will be made by Whirlpool, Maytag, LG and Samsung in the UK, sometimes with a pretty dress on to differentiate them, but the same thing basically.
Personally I’d go for the Maytag as they have proved pretty robust in my experience of them.
The Koreans are a nightmare for spares.
Whirlpool have had issues with control PCBs and the ice making units.

But Sean, what do we do with it?
How much do we have to do for them before they actually stand on their own two feet?
Why should I dedicate my time and my money towards protecting DASA when I can do a lot more in many other ways with the freedom allowed through UKW?
Have we not done enough already, certainly far more than any of the associate members that are lingering around?
And still, after all this time, the simple questions of “what is DASA and where is it going, what is its goals?” cannot be answered.

By that time Sean will be up to speed with most of the stuff that’s going off this year and that should kinda change the perspective a little. As in we’ve gotten off our asses and actually done something.
In the end the DASA bods can bury their heads in the sand over it, or make from it. It’s up to tem, but if they choose to ignore what we bring then on their own heads be it, the rest of the trade won’t.
And the first step of that is on my desk as of yesterday morning as I have the report from SGS. The next meeting is on the 25th of this month, with more to follow before the DASA council meeting.
I’m quietly confident. 😉
