    Really?

I do wonder at times how much you really know about what’s going on in the industry Martin.

And no, I can’t offer much more comment.

We’ve got this section, been there for a few years or so…

    http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/stai … ine-stains

Almost every single staining fault known to mankind is there. Every possible cause.

All you need to do is… well, use it. 😉

And, I’d bet dollars to donuts you’ll find out what it is and, it probably won’t be bog all to do with the water supply.

    This is correct.

Other than in soft or very soft water areas salt is still required and pretty much, that’s it or any element could fail due to calcium build ups.

    Re: appliance health check

    Hi Ally,

I don’t think anyone’s actively pushed it as yet given it’s not officially out there just yet but, hopefully will be live this week or early next latest.

I know what you’re saying though as the same thought crossed my mind as well and I’d bet that any number of social housing projects, councils, care homes, landlords and all that sort of thing will most probably be quite interested.

What I don’t know and can’t say for sure is if the WTA guys will represent and negotiate that sort of work then appoint the work to members or, if they’ll let the members crack on with it.

What might be better is to deal with those sorts of enquiries centrally if you will then see who wants it, dunno just spitballing it really.

The draft guidelines are under review now, Lawrence and I hope to have them to you all early this week but, it’s simple enough stuff.

You’d need to give the model number as Baumatic is was an own label brand that was bought by Candy circa 2013 so, it could be almost anything.

    Re: TDWSF83BEP Door Filter Light

No idea, there’s scant info on those models as, so far as I was aware they were only used to replace dryers affected by the recall.

In any event they work as explained here:

    http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/fix- … hermistors

For refrigeration but the same basic principles apply.

Is that machine not still under warranty as it looks to be a very recent model? Hence, little to no info on it as yet.

That being the case, you’d be better to look to get Hotpoint to fix it under the warranty.

All you can do is strip it down and investigate, see if there’s anything stuck in the pump.

Quite possibly as I believe that’s the only thing that powers up the display board.

If it’s shorted or short cycling it’ll blow it.
