I haven’t had enough feedback on the hybrid dryers to comment, what I have heard is they are complex.

But again, in temperature extremes—like those you’ll get in an outbuilding—normal dryers will often struggle, and heat pumps just won’t work.

Heat pump dryers have very specific operating temperatures, they are not as flexible as others so make sure you look into that as, in an heated garage, in winter, or high summer I doubt one will work or, work well.

There’s not enough gas in them for it to be of much concern.

The problem with tripping faults is that, without electrically testing or it being pretty obvious what the problem is, they can be a nightare to track down, as explained here:

    https://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/fix-it-yourself/washing-machine-washer-dryer/3882-washing-machines-blowing-fuses-a-tripping

Randomly replacing parts to try to solve it is inadvisable at best.

It’s one of their Chinese ones so the only people likely to have info on it is 0800 Repair/Pacifica.

I hadn’t seen them but it looks like we’re going to have to start banning people again. To be fair, it’s been okay for a good while.

Yeah, you can’t get the boards now so far as I know.

The manual is on here, somewhere, for download but that is a very weird fault.

If it’s been bonded, total PITA to change them.

Most of them the past decade or more and bonded on, they can’t be replaced.

Or, they can, but it’s a royal pain to do and you need a universal kit that’s a pain to fit.

These days there is virtually no info on the as they’re not serviced at all really, certainly not commercially.

The only one’s I’ve seen any parts for really are Dualit and the odd commercial toaster but aside that, none and no info as they have been relegated to becoming regarded as throwaway goods.

    Been a few years…

Do you think we should expand a little as I was thinking on asking kaibart to join the mod team as he’s on a lot, posts sensible stuff, helps people and is knowledgable.

    Thoughts?

After going around in circles for half an hour, it seems that they haven’t bothered to list the fault codes!

There’s a bunch of unrelated info, the “service manual” is the instruction manual and there’s not a peep I can find on fault codes specific to the machine.

Are you sure you’re getting F19 as it only seems to go to F9, which is:

    F9 (DIVERTER POSITION PROBLEM)

    DIVERTER

    • Check the values of the diverter.

    • Check the cable connection of the diverter.

    ELECTRONIC CARD

    • Check the electronic card

Do you have the serial number of the machine?
