KeymasterRe: Best oven in Cyprus
Not being funny or anything but, if you’re using this professionally and you want it to last anything beyond a moderate time you seriously need to be looking at more commercial products.
If you’re going to run this more than normal domestic use, none of the ones you’re looking at will stand up to it.

KeymasterRe: Brain frazzled from deciding on right Miele fridge freez
Not better, the same machines as Liebherr make those for Miele.
But, later on when it needs parts or service Liebherr as monumentally cheaper in most cases as Miele really do extract the Micheal on that stuff.

Or buy the Liebherr equivalent which is the same thing only cheaper. 😉

KeymasterRe: AEG Fridge: Condensation in veg drawer
They probably won’t be able to do anything though Seamy and if it’s NFF the cust runs the risk of a charge for that. 🙁

5?C is usually fine for most fresh veg etc. but in some units it just depends on how much and where as the temps can vary depending on where in the cabinet you test.

KeymasterRe: Important Changes To Engineer Search
That can happen.
Mostly as nobody bothers to tell anyone and, given it’s a free service, we don’t dedicate staff or my time to keep on top of who still exists or not.
Just as people have changed areas, brands and products but not told anyone or done it themselves then complain to me or someone in the building that they got a job they don’t want for whatever reason.
What won’t happen is, we won’t change information unless we have it 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} confirmed that the change is valid and from a valid source as, in the past competitors *HAVE* tried to get others delisted etc.
So, a lot of that, is for the protection of people that are active on there.
To my mind, on balance, that’s a better way than arbitrarily making changes without being completely certain they are valid. And, that’s before we even get into the privacy and security side of things.
The point being that it’s not just as cut and dried to make changes or update data as you may assume it to be.
I hope that explains why.

KeymasterRe: WTA Engineer Search
Okay so the new version is up and running. 😀
WTA members have got access before the genpop does ’cause you’re all “special”. 😉
Plus I can’t be a****d listening to Martin et all whining. Usually about silly stuff.
Anyways, new one is now live here:
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/search/fi … e-engineer
Same URL, different system entirely. Like, not even slightly the same!
Aside the way it is used, which remains as simple as we can make it to be in the familiar three step layout but it has been made clearer and a bit more funky.
The backend is completely new and is hosted on the Rapport site, not on UKW as it uses the new core system that Rapport shares and that is also better protected in some ways. Also having it there reduces the server load as well as allowing us to use a more modern backend. Lots of geeky stuff basically.
Speaking of the backend system, it’s here…
http://rapportsoftware.co.uk/findanengi … nengineer/
From there you can (or will be able to) login and amend your listing almost at will with some restrictions as a few things can only be entered or amended by admin to prevent fraud basically or people taking the you-know-what.
But you will be able to switch yourself on and off, add or delete brands, products and so on.
And all new, you’ll be able to see some stats as well. Like this:
So it’s made small for speed but you get the idea, you can see the number of times someone has press the “Phone” button which goes to whatever number *YOU* set in the control panel. Then you see the number of web enquiries that have been placed or, the number of times it’s been clicked. Then you see the number of views your listing has had globally.
There’s SMS stuff in there also, you can get notifications that way and some other stuff but that’s more for Rapport users currently than anyone else.
To get a user/pass for access please email Sudeep on support@rapportsoftware.co.uk and he will set that up for you.
There is a two step authentication on it so, you will need to get past the first layer to get logged in.

And, it lives…
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/search/fi … e-engineer
A few last minute changes were needed as is usual with new software stuff and there’s probably some bits and bobs that will need fixed on the fly but it’s all up and running now.
