KeymasterNo, I mean the switch behind the panel there, you won’t see anything without getting inside there.

KeymasterSadly there’s probably no hope of that now, Teba stopped trading the best part of 20 years ago.

KeymasterCheck the main oven control switch for signs of burning etc, it’s probably that.

KeymasterYes, that looks to be Smeg and a splittable tank, bearings etc listed.

KeymasterDunno if they’re still making any, not seen a proper Smeg one in a while.

KeymasterLPG Gas Safe cooker repairers are about as common as rocking horse manure. In fact, unicorn manure is more commonplace.
And another shock will be the oven spark generator that is:

If you got a repairer to replace that for less than £80 I’d be surprised and, you should be also.

KeymasterNardi ceased trading some years back and info on them is now non-existent so, hard to help really.
It will be a branded unit, probably Ardo Merloni (Servis) but they also went bust in 2008 so no hope there either.
As for parts, given the above, I’m sure you’ll appreciate there’s pretty much no hope now.

KeymasterNot a hope now of a genuine one, it’s an old original LEC made in Bognor by the look of it and, R12 not used since the 1980’s.
The only chance would be a universal one probably a VS5/W5 like this:

Then trying to figure out how to rewire it to suit.

KeymasterHaier HW120-B14979 has a splittable tank but the wash performance isn’t exactly wonderful.

KeymasterIt’s not on a timed cycle at all. It’s all down to the thermistor telling it when to switch on or off.

KeymasterNot without testing (pressure) it but I can’t see how it could be anything else really.

KeymasterI think you may find specific examples like sealed units of all nature, programmable modules and so on all coming directly into focus.
I have advised on it so I am well aware these are points that have been raised and look set to be addressed and, also major points of concern from end-users in fact, part of the very reason this is happening.
End-users and legislators do not share your view on sealed units as they are proven to be a major reason for early write-off of many an appliance, it simply makes repair uneconomical. So that is a major element of this.
What the repair industry and manufacturers think is secondary as they will act in their best interest, the legislators are acting in the interest of consumers, not traders.
The legislation will evolve over time.
