ParticipantRe: Smeg SE2773TC
hi,i found this reply on a website which may be helpfull for error 3
Can I make a suggestion. There could be a misconfiguration with the control board that needs to be reset.
Firstly switch off the appliance and disconnect from the mains.
Reconnect and Press and Hold the Minus key ‘-‘
While holding the minus key press keys 1 through 4 in turn within 4 seconds. Each key press will give an audible beep.
Once done you should get a ‘C’ displayed for each ring element.
Now place a pan of water on one element. Press the Plus key ‘+’ next to the element ring and wait for the ‘C’ to change to ‘-‘.
Repeat that for each element and once complete the appliance will switch off.
Reconfiguration is now complete and you can use the appliance as normal.June 19, 2012 at 12:11 pm in reply to: Bosch WAE2416sgb fitted new brushes now wont start, help!!! #376743lasty

hi,if you turn wash knob to the off position then turn it to the 6 oclock spin position then press and hold the spin speed button then turn the knob to the 7 oclock position keep holding down the spin speed button for a further 5 seconds then turn the knob to the off position, this will reset the board, however it can take a few times to reset it when you have not done it before, hope this helps

ParticipantRe: LG washer
Dead easy – think WMA – 2 hrs max and all the wiring is colour coded to the relevant plug so no problem there – QUALITY !!. One thing i will suggest is beware of cheap bearings if it`s a direct drive . Because the motor is so quiet , any noisy bearing will sound ten times worse when installed and the cheapo ones can sound very rough even when spun on your fingers – SKF are good …

Participantboselecta wrote:Hi had exactley the same problem with my conversions. The welded tub pressure switches fill very low in WMA tubs. Fit the WMA pressure switches and it will be fine, never had a problem after doing this.
Tried all the above but couldn`t get the level up . Another problem was filling into the conditioner section , just the one shot and then went into wash keeping the level low and leaving the powder in the wash section . Like i mentioned before , i steer clear of the conversion now … 🙁

ParticipantRe: wf conversion problem
Had this twice when i`ve rebuilt using a split drum to replace the sealed one and never got to the bottom of it .
I put it down to the pressure vessel being of a totally different molded design – whatever pressure switch i tried no improvement , i even tried various bores of tubing but all to no avail …
I now avoid `em like the plague !!lasty
ParticipantRe: HOTPOINT WMA interlock chip / board fault
——————————————————————————–
HOTPOINT WMA – symtoms :- interlock fails to lock , light flashing .
If the door switch is fine and you suspect a board problem – Easy enough to sort if the damage is visible .There is a 3mm x 2mm chip on the bottom left hand side easily distinguished by three prongs out the top and a single square plate attatchment at the bottom all soldered . check the chip for blown surface damage and of course track damage . Repair track damage and change the chip with one off a scrap board …….
usually sorts things out .lasty

Mike.
(Edit: So you can happily also ignore the reference to smds in my previous post!)L.M.T.G.O.W.I – You are probably correct , bin a while since i`ve tinkered with an older WD , sorry for the confusion but thought it might help .

ParticipantRe: zanussi zwf fails to go to wash cycle.
Checking the motor tacho is a good place to start . On the end of the motor , two wires leading up to it – magnet on the end of the armature seems prone to unscrewing itself ……
Good luck .
