    Thanks Bob,

    Wow they`re expensive (Connect).

It seems Connect only carry the lower hinge. Is it worth just replacing the
    lower one on its own.

    Thanks again

    Thanks Peng,

I was about to ask how I identify the date code but both those numbers go to the same Connect part number – would this be expected or are they wrong.

    Re prices.

They are, but if the customer wants it they will pay.

    Re: Bosch D/W SGS45E08GB/45 What`s This?

    Thanks Martin,

Whilst I did not check the heater for a circuit as I had allowed the machine to
go on for about 20 mins after the dispenser had opened (assuming heater
would come on after this happening) but no live was detected at the heater
terminals. I therefore discounted the heater as a problem – besides I thought
heaters either worked or they didn`t (I have had very rare occasions with
washing m/cs when heaters are corroding out and have created a return –
    but I never say never.)

The water level is fine so I am drawn to the control pcb – what a shame.

Thanks for your input again, Martin.

    Thanks Lerch.

Just to clarify please – is this the correct way to read the LE description.

Lock error. Check lead – 3 pin to stator (PCB lead). Repair or replace Hall
sensor in stator. If faulty replace stator.

Not knowledgeable on these machines – what is a Hall sensor?

    Thanks

Thanks for the feedback folks, it`s much appreciated.

    Hi Baron,
    How`s things?
This one has module behind facia panel.

    Hi Clayside,
Thanks for the reassurance and that`s the part number Miele gave
    (£130+pp+vat).

    Hi Seamy,

    Thanks for your response.

I have removed the brush and tacho housing from the front of the motor
and checked brushes and tacho cct – all ok.

The field windings have a cct as does the armature and the cut out is good.

It seems the motor is good.
