Hi Jim,
A quick look on Connections seems to show this as a solenoid interlock.
I have changed two of these for making a clicking noise.

ParticipantRe: Test Procedure for a Hotpoint WMA63 Needed
Thanks everyone for your input.
I put the machine through a test procedure and it came up with E30 –
motor tacho failure.I have a circuit through the tacho coil, the tacho magnet is secure on the
shaft and the plug wiring is ok.Because the chaffed motor (armature) lead and heater lead where
adjacent to each other in the loom (bare conductors exposed on both)
and that they may have touched and damaged the chopper board, plus
the fact that the motor leads also enter this board then I am making the
assumption that the chopper board is the culprit 🙁 – unless someone
can assure me differently. Thanks again for your help.

Hi David,
No it did not pump before filling for those few seconds.
The diagnostic sequence seemed eratic – it did not seem to follow what I was reading from the manual.
I will do as you advise
Thanks

ParticipantRe: Bosch D/washer SGS5358GB/17 Programme Times Have Changed
Hi,
This was a model that took the time of its present wash from the previous wash.
The initial complaint was that it would not fill so machine obviously took the time for the next wash from when the machine was switched off.
The original fault has not re-occured and the times are now back to normal.
Thanks for everyones input.

Thanks Martin,
Just gave them a quick call but they don`t supply spares for machines
over 15 years old. This one is nearer 20 years old 🙁 . They don`t
recognise the model number format.Laurence

Hi Goose,
Sorry for the slow reply – went down with some horrible sickness and
`the other thing 😯 ` (you might be reading this at breakfast). The link just goes to `page cannot be found` and I can`t find Atoz Sales anywhere.
But thanks for trying.
Do you know any supplyers who do Dei Deitrich parts?
