Nah I escaped Haverhill a long time ago ,didn’t like the customers 😆
All joking aside there was always something really odd about Haverhill ,it seemed to have an identity crisis …Lawrence

Actually Mike we have ,look on the WTA site ,under about the WTA 4th down ,WTA Constitution .
There is no reason why DASA and the WTA cannot exist in the same orbit ,When the chairman of DASA did a presentation at the last but one WTA mtg it was well received and there was a positive feel about working together ,as has been pointed out a lot of people carry membership for both DASA & WTA.Feel free to join us at the next meeting in Coventry in 4 weeks time to find out more ,I will even buy you a beer …
And for the record I don’t care how big your screwdriver is ,if it gets you custom then knock yourself out.

I do feel a dialogue may be prudent to clear the DASA issue off your list, and will possibly ensure the matter doesn’t propagate to the WTA AlexHence this comment. I can see this has no bearing on the WTA and in fact is intended to be divorced as such and perhaps from DASA as well, however it has degenerated by other peoples assumptions I suspect.
Alex
What I see are lots of assumptions being WRONGLY made , the WTA are in danger of being found guilty by association ,which is why I asked Ade to state that what is being said is on behalf of Ade and a commercial operation that he is part of ,NOT the WTA ,he rightly asks the question “is he not able to have an opinion of his own “on a forum renowned for its free speech, looking back over the posts I find myself concluding No which is a sad state of affairs ,we all enjoy the freedom of UKW but then complain when something is posted that we don’t like .
As the Chairman of the WTA I deliberately don’t post in answer to some things in case of the very thing that has happened here i.e assumptions are made And guilt by association happens
There is a very easy way to conclude this discussion ,questions are posed to the relevant people they then respond with the answer ,thus avoiding guesswork, assumptions and plain untruths being propagated
Finally for the record this course of debate has NOTHING to do with the WTA And I do not want the assumption made and subsequently propagated …Lawrence Carey

You have a direct involvement with the WTA and are on their committee. As far as I’m aware you also have no direct connection with DASA, 0800 or JTM. And the casual observer to all this would therefore conclude a certain degree of mud-slinging is going on here…..or maybe I’m wrong again…dunno. 😕Martin you are correct ,you are wrong … but I can see where you are coming from .
For the record
Whilst Ade is on the WTA team, on this subject he is NOT talking on behalf of the WTA, The WTA and DASA have the same aims but have different ways of achieving them ,and have a good relationship, because of that there is no need for mudslinging.hope that clarifies

The WTA doesn’t have associate members ,but if someone asks for help in finding coverage we will signpost our members to them what happens after that is between the WP and the member direct .
Hope that clarifies
