Slowly slowly catchy monkey though!
Agreed we must be careful not to be “bounced “into something just because events are happening quickly ,On another point I wonder how many RC agents are WTA members ?

Many of you here will already know all this and I know I’m repeating myself but, I would rather be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} crystal clear on where I am with this sort of stuff.
Other than that, let’s get on with it then.
K.
And this is where we may have a problem ,whilst we all understand the transparency element of it ,I wonder if others will.
We need to think very carefully about the next stage cos this could be the beginning of something good ,so the foundations need to be spot on .
Find out what there time frame is and what they expect and if needs be invite them to the Mtg.Lawrence
ParticipantRe: Rate reduction issues
My opinion is if the WTA were to facilitate the route to the engineers thats no bad thing ,but more than that I am not sure and am thinking …

ParticipantRe: DSG/RepairCare Rate Cuts
Anyone who the WTA has invited has a vested interest in the trade wether that be from the perspective of service providers or work providers .
The WTA is there to help the trade with all things that have an impact upon it , the fact that some RC agents are taking about going bust means it is of major importance ,I have been around long enough to remember the impact the last time DSG changed there policy .I hope you will take the time to attend Lee,it will be good to meet you.Lawrence
ParticipantRe: Qualtex discount scheme for WTA.
To Update you all we had a very productive day ,the result of which is that at the Sept mtg we will be announcing the following –
WTA members will receive a 15{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} discount on every order when they type in there membership no .
If they place an order before 6pm yes thats 6pm then if the part is in stock it will be there next day !
and at the end of every year Qualtex will total the amount spent by WTA members and reimburse 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} back to WTA central funds.
All of this will happen from Sept and must be kept quiet untl then .
They will also pay for a flyer promoting the mtg and the WTA and mail out to all 3000 of there accounts as well as putting them in parcels ,We got on very well with Phil and he is very supportive of what we are doing .
Thanks Steve for all the spadework I hope that we achieved the kind of result you were expectingLawrence

ParticipantRe: sept 2010 meeting
The only thing that would get there attention at the mo is the rate reduction .
I suppose its working out a way for the WTA to talk about it without talking about repaircare by name .
However if the agents raised questions from the floor we would’nt stop it being discussed now would we.
could be done on the end of BobLawrence

ParticipantRe: Water soluble bags???
BobHope wrote:hi bazza,
these bags are not recomended to be used in a machine that uses a pump to remove the water, as most commercial washing machines use a dump valve to empty the water i think any pump operated drain system might have problems.
Bob.
I agree ,the machine also normally has to reach a critical temp for a certain length of time to allow the bags to dissolve ,this is normally done using what is called a Sluice/medical programme that the ISE10 doesn’t have .

Perhaps we should add an open conversation on rate reduction to the meeting agenda and see what shakes out but, do it after Bob 2.K.
I wondered about facilitating a meeting for all interested parties -repairer wise ,so that views could be aired experiences swapped etc .
but I also thought it may be seen as agitating however the TA is there for its members… -
