And it might be interesting to relate it to water hardness.

If it’s one of the models with a square computer board on the rhs top of cabinet the “slave” timer (selector switch with motor drive) is favourite. This has been mentioned in many previous threads. Seme has them around £13. Might be worth keeping one in stock.

At what point on cycle is programme sticking? Start of rinses? Can you locate the area of the machine where the hum is coming from? I’m still wondering if you’re getting water coming in at each point where it should.
Water valves hum gently when they’re getting no water.

Brian, I’ve got exploded diagrams for a 3RLSQ8000 if you’d like them. It would have to be snail mail and would get sent Monday.
I got them off Whirlpool couple of years ago – just had to ring them.
There is a switch shown on the back of the motor which I think is linked mechanically to the lid actuator. But maybe that’s what you’ve already checked.

Re: Beko concrete bolts sheared off. How extract from plasti

😥 Anybody want a second hand motor and/or module for a Beko WM1510W? (Untested as yet but probably OK). Going cheap.
When I get time I’m gonna practise on something with them easi-outs to try and perfect the technique. Thanks for all the help guys. BTW, I had second thoughts about the wire/gaffer tape 😳 . That bit of concrete is really heavy, isn’t it?

Does the door still lock when the machine is on? If not, be careful it could flood your kitchen.Or worse. 😯
Secondly, has the everlasting spin been sorted? If not, you could use a plug in timer to finish the programme at approximately the right time with a bit of trial and error.

I dunno too much about these but I know that when you lift the lid on the old Hotpoint ATL it operates a big solenoid thing which disengages the drive.(IIRC). Could it be that by plonking down the lid she’s releasing a sticking solenoid or a relay?
