I think he may well have known ISE machines. Stating a product will last 10 yrs and actually lasting 10 yrs are two very different creatures. Since ISE has gone and so it seems the warranty as well it’s worth learning that.

Nonsense. Really. Baumatic sold overpriced products. The Chinese crap you moan about. Though now it seems unless your the one pointing it out its nonsense. There reliability was borderline unfit for purpose . Which ultimately caused the failure of the business, it’s not uncommon, enough of a hole to cause injury, yet it seems not larger enough to stop people continuingly failing over it.
Maybe Ebac will price the product accordingly, although l get the feeling because it’s “British” the price will be premium and in several yrs time the “project” will leave a few peeps pissed off and some dealers, agents out of pocket. Again.

At component level obviously but an identical product with very little difference if any priced dramatically different, no its immoral. By the fact they do it proves there immoral.

So Enzo buying more Chinese crap and selling it at a premium price, cos it’s new and modern, green and blah bloody blah.
Same old concept. Same end result.
One day will someone in this industry come up with a concept that is actually honest and the real surprise new.

I know how manufacturers work. It doesn’t make it right. As a consumer myself if l choose an LG tv I’d like it to be an LG made tv and not the cheap shit that l had chosen not to buy, that’s one improvement the Internet has brought, the ability to find out your being decived before you part with the £’s.

So buying in crates of Turkish parts and sticking them together in the UK makes them British. Let’s hope they go the same way as other newbies who think they can do better in the appliance industry.

Plenty of options as most people are leaving it and those left employed are pretty much either to scared to leave or unemployable anywhere else.

Using Jesus as an example is probably spot on. I’m mean he was convinced he was doing good when in fact his religion has killed far more than had it he not bothered and kept those voices in his head to himself. I’m sure he’d have made a better carpenter than holy saviour of mankind.
Maybe Ken is better of not trying to save our industry.
