Re: AEG Micromat Combi – Model MCC4060E

If u look inside while its running ( within them few seconds it does ) the turntable may possibly not be turning.

If it says inverter on bottom left of the door… bin it as the parts will be over 100 quid.
Even if u were a rich man.. nobody will supply a non trade with the parts to replace this is the reason i havnt told u what parts it would need only a rough price.

If it isnt inverter system take it to a local shop ( if the turntable isnt revolving ) and they should be able to fix it for i guess £30 to £40.

if it is not inverter system and turntable is turning its a switch possibly but im not at liberty to tell u which one.

Sorry but this is for your benefit and my peace of mind.
also it could be another 2 things…which is very highly dangerous if u dunno what ya doing.

Its 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} when its running the hot cycle… only happening when running cold.. i can only assume the diverter plate is rubbing slightly.

Ok so im up at the crack of a sparrows fart giving this d/w a final test before i take it back.. 55 degree setting… only its not the sparrow farting its the diverter every single time it changes over the the top spray arm.. lasts about 10 seconds every couple of minutes…. it was fine on 70 degree for 3 whole tests that took 4 to 5 hours… im gonna risk taking it back but i can gather i will be getting a call from the customer in a day or so… 😥

sometimes a little nudge in the right direction with the pulley nut on and a wooden block and a decent sized hammer can free it off.. but go VERY CAREFUL or u could damage the shafts thread, spray a bit of wd on there first also.

LOL.. so i explained it wasnt a quick job..ive took lots of pics too throughout the repair..put em on disc and she can have the disc to see exactly what she got for her moneys worth… keeps em happy. 😛

i know what u mean bud…. thing is..when i can if its a good hour or more job i prefer to take them away..then i can give them a dam good test after ( if its been a huge strip down job ) and i wont be governed by the odd shower! it gives me more peace of mind.. and by taking it away i can drop the job if the phone rings for a quick repair thats not too far away. 😆
