    Re: Hotpoint SE89PGX single oven

I have a recollection this oven is one of the Ariston Forno’s yes/no
The last one of these I had cutting out was down to a faulty potentiometer (one of the controls) worth trying as its cheaper than the PCB/timer

    Thanks Bob.
That’s the kit I have. Does the new board come with a diagram of where to connect the LEA?

    Bob.
Probably is that code, I was trying to read it with a torch in a blacked out garage! That part no is the standard one that I quoted which is longer than the one on this machine. 😕

Any advice accepted and thanks again.
How long was the course?, it does not supprise me that they take your money and dump you out on the street. I would have thought they should have at least helped you with, names of parts suppliers, which companies provide technicle backup (few and far between) where you can access information, etc.
I presume they did train you to use “Meggers, loop testers and multimeters”?
BTW you still need to PM me with your email address 😉

However word is coming through that the OFT have shown an interest in the deal and I’m waiting on more information to compile a news story on the subject.

    K.
Funny how the OFT gets to hear about these things Ken :rolls:
    Prices might be interesting

Hi Mate welcome to the mad house 😉
I presume because you are new to this you will not be aware that there is a diagnostics program for Zanies? I you care to PM me with your email I might be able to help with some goodies.
By the way you need to test the valve with a meter to see if the coils OK

    Re: Beko fridge freeze recall

Masterpart were sending out details of the updated timer. Can I suggest that anyone who hasnt got the update either contact Mpart or Beko. I would post it here but I might be contravening some of UKWG policies :rolls:
Sod it it’s here, better be safe than sorry, I think Beko should be thanking us for looking after their interests. Sorry Ken if I have over stepped, I will greatfully accept slapt wrists :rolls: http://www.masterpart.com/Beko_Technica … 90100.html

By the way check the date of the update 😐
