ParticipantThese machines have a base under the appliance with a float switch detecting leaks, that error means theres water in the base and has activated this switch.
Check the door seal for holes, otherwise all you can do is clear that water either by tilting the machine or using a wet vacuum, then running it again and checking for anything leaking.

ParticipantMore often than not replacing this fixes this for me (its behind the left panel near the water intake)

ParticipantI’d be inclined to try this first:
https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/c00256546-dishwasher-air-break-turbineIt “counts” the water coming into the machine so when it fails the computer keeps bringing more in if its not being told how much its had.

ParticipantThe pin type part is probably a thermistor, the humidity sensor is usually 2 metal looking strips near the door opening.
Had a look in the service manual and can’t see anything regarding those numbers, the attached image is what is says regarding it saying empty water.

ParticipantWithout that the humid air isnt going to the condenser, so likely fault is the condenser is blocked (see attached image) or less likely its the humidity sensor.

ParticipantThe humidity sensor looks something like this – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNpQRPJfTGA
Might even be worth checking the thermostats on the heater unit (unplug power first obviously) Appliances are sometimes wierd with faults and error codes where the issuues isn;t what the machine tells you.

ParticipantJust looked on diagram and yes looks like no float switch on this model. Make sure the condenser you can pull out the front is clear (you should be able to see through from front to back)
This model also had a humidity sensor near the door opening I think, check that for damage and that its all attached internally.

ParticipantUsually if the empty light is on it’s down to the float switch being activated near the pump (will be in the resovoir) Check that area is clear from blockages as well as the condenser unit itself.

ParticipantNot been out to a Hoover heatpump model yet, have they changed the chassis design much from the old vented/condenser design?
For those I usually take the front fan out and I can just about get a hand in there to swap the capacitor out.

ParticipantA lot of the time just tightening the screws around the sump has sorted this for me, other wise usually one of the faults already stated

ParticipantNeeded to buy a Dyson clutch this week for the 1st time in quite a while and thought of this thread.
Qualtex price is £18.99 for me, whereas Connect have it showing at £43.90!!matrixresonator
ParticipantGood news, Connect got in touch today and the door has been shipped!

ParticipantRealised today my multimeter actually came with a temperature probe, was miles off when I tried it, but after wrapping the end of the sensor in foil in read temps perfectly.

would be intersting to know if they are accepting new customers or not
DaveI just opened an account with them, so yes they are.
Sent an order Tuesday and it arrived today, not next day but they made me aware of this so no complaints from me. -
