have had problems like that with cheap copy brushes using poor case plastic that wont take heat

Funny you should mention that, seem to remember getting some after market ones recently when genuine were out of stock, bet it was them.

ParticipantAh never even thought of that!
I had another where both brushes had worn so replaced them, after 1 cycle it errored again so went back to check, looked like one of the brushes had overheated and the case had stuck to the holder with the brush being stuck inside.

ParticipantIt it leaks again when you move it that means theres an internal leak, moving it is just letting it pour off the base.

are you sure about that. the valve you linked to is 325v DC and at 9 ohms that gives a current of 36A

There was a tech note on ASWO’s EURAS system that gave the values, not at the right pc now to get on and check.

ParticipantIIRC the heat exchange valve should read between 7-9 ohms.

ParticipantWhen you moved it some water will have run out resetting the float switch. If there’s a fault it will continue leaking and activate the float again.

ParticipantNo idea either, as electrofix says doubt it’s from the machine, wrong font and colour for Miele
matrixresonator
ParticipantBtw, the suffix on these is the colour of the chassis.

ParticipantBeen a few years since I did one of these, but I remember quite often having to replace the spider too.
Didn’t they stop producing 30mm spiders so you had to replace it with a 35mm as well as the 35mm bearings?September 30, 2022 at 7:53 am in reply to: Indesit DIF04B1UK dishwasher all four lights flashing #483791matrixresonator
ParticipantNot near anything to check but it could be F15 heater error, might be worth waiting for someone who can check the code if you’re not with the machine to test the heater.

ParticipantThose newer style pumps fire up momentarily a few times before running fully, wonder if they’re checking for drainage and stopping if nothing is detected?

ParticipantHad a similar problem a few weeks ago, behind the left panel where the water tank is the drain hose connects. I removed this and using a wet vacuum sucked through the drain hose, then through the chamber and it sorted it. Presume there was some bit of debris in there stopping it drain.

ParticipantI’ve just thrown one away a couple of days ago from a failed heater, wish I’d kept it now could’ve swapped them over.

ParticipantYes pretty straightforward, obviously disconnect power, remove left panel and you’ll see the old one (its just the little board part). Pop the old one out, new one in and reattached the connector and thats it.
