If you buy a genuine seal, the instructions show to fit it from inside, but that could be for the benefit of the consumer rather than engineers.

Where he shows lifting the seal over with the tool, that’s where the rinse aid helps. The video doesn’t show it, but it needs lifting over the other pin the same way.

Loosen the screws and let the sump drop a little. There’s a couple of tabs to break off and the new seal needs lifting over 2 areas.
As kaibart says it can be very fiddly and the seals can break just from looking at them.

I put some rinse aid on the new seal which helps massively. Also watch out the the metal base, it will try to remove your fingers at every opportunity.

Very common issue with Electrolux made machines, steam cleaner is good too for cleaning those chambers out if you have one handy.

The seals usually go on fair easily, its the rear clamps that make life hard.
If its the full spring type ones I use a clamp as a 3rd hand, Samsung ones with the screw band i have a small ratchet that fits in.

if you’re unlucky enough some of the LG’s are front off and weights off.

I change 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of seals without removing the front.

Sounds like a faulty board, see it a lot with Samsungs

I’ve seen this be the drain valve in the side tank, it fails and lets the water run back in. Next time you see there’s water left, check if the tank is empty or not.

Usually the wash pump at fault when i’ve had this error, either a blockage in the impeller or the shaft gets wobbly

Check the water reservoir isn’t full. if it is it will activate a float switch which kills power to the heater.

Yes think both pumps are the same, but 3C is a motor error.
Can be brushes, but they’re also known for wires breaking on the motor harness, plus the boards fail.
Samsung is overpriced crap.
