Great feedback on this one Thanks for your time
In the end the client chose a slimline appliance 100 quid cheaper but actually offered NOT to be refunded the difference as he was grateful for the service
I accepted so we are all friends !! So if anyone wants a good deal on nearly new Fridge Freezer ….. haha

    Re: Bosch WTE84307GB-05 tumble dryer

Are you saying the water is seeping out through the condenser porthole then dripping down inside the cover then seeping through the cover onto the floor?
Because that would mean water running uphill possibly driven by that fan ?
OR are you not sure where water exits ?
The thing is I cannot believe the water is getting out through the base as is a solid piece and quite thick
Can you not trace back a nice white calcium tell tale stain from somewhere?Get a good light in there?
Shame I can”t see that image with the black tape ??
At the moment I think the liftpump is cutting out when it gets hot then cooling down by the time you use it next so basically flooding that area and seeping out
Those pumps will do that Nothing else comes to mind – no common faults – the liftpump is the most likely to fail

Re: Insulation resistance testers or meggars

Did it come with English instructions ?
What is the idea of 3 connection ports?
My meggar has a common coloured black and then a red coloured 2nd port marked Ohms

just reading that back when I say one underneath I mean in the base of appliance there is a screw holding the side panel aside from 2 screws holding that side panel which are hidden under the console panel
    You probably already know ?

    Re: Bosch WTE84307GB-05 tumble dryer

tbh with that type of Dryer, the water droplets run backwarsds into a sump where liftpump takes it up up and awayyyy ! Sorry ?
If then leaking from the front could be appliance not level by a mile, I mean sloping forward which I assume you have eliminated.
Liftpump not getting rid of water quick enough so maybe strip and clean as must be working or you would have told me no water in collection drawer
Could it be that the seal on the condenser is dirty or damaged ??
You could easily observe closer by taking off L/H panel
If it is the model I am thinking of there are 2 screws hidden under the console panel so you need to take that panel off to get at them and also another hidden one right underneath to catch out the DIYers ! The rest are obvious albeit different size TORX heads (some 15 some 20 ) just for fun
With this panel off you are going to see why water is accumalating there because in normal operation there should n’t be water anywhere near there in any quantity anyway

    That’s a great 1st step
Are you saying then that if the pump starts up , it proves the module beyond reasonable doubt ?
If it is still dead would you diagnose a module/pcb

    Re: Bosch WTE84307GB-05 tumble dryer

where is the water collected on this model ? Pumped up into drawer or gravity fed into a base sump that then pulls out
So basically do you get water from top or bottom

    Re: Neff S5453X1GB/74

you need to find out if you are getting 240V supply to that module
I would not buy anything until you can establish that -try and trace the power line in from suppressor – door micro a possibility, on/ff s/w also ???

Re: Taking back a new Fridge because too small !!

the law would be different here in Spain but we tend to self govern anyway and go by UK regulations
We could hide behind the law because consumer law is mostly unworkable here e.g under warranty repairs have only to offer a service call within 14 days ?? No consideration whatsoever for the poor old user with a mountain of dirty laundry!
You can see that mostly retailers are protected which is why it takes a normal Spaniard 3 weeks to buy an appliance!! He knows he is basically stuck with it! Which when you think about it is not a bad system-extensive research ?
The original Fridge was ordered on our premises but when it was discovered that the doors opened 5 mm wider then the 2nd was ordered by telephone so there is a grey area right away but I must say that the ‘customising’ is brilliant !! (Well done stratfordgirl)
I once took an under the counter Fridge back after 1 day because they wanted something different – it took me an hour or so to ‘valet’ it back to showroom condition but it always smelt of cheese !!! ( I even bleached it – still same )
I had to take it off the shop floor and eventually sold it to rental company haha!!
Anyway once bitten and all that and I really appreciate the feedback – I don’t feel quite so alone now ! Awwww!

Re: Insulation resistance testers or meggars

Ah so no one tempted to even have a look at one ???
They must work I suppose but on the other hand for how long ?
€20 is just too cheap really but if someone had tried it ?
I’ll shop around as I”m not in a rush – this new one would be kept in our workshop to save going back out to van
    Cheers

    Re: Fagor dishwasher LPU-0731T.

The engineer is in the right area
Water is either leaking from somewhere like a faulty seal OR is overfilling with water which in both cases then spills into the base where it is detected by a float switch which gives a fault signal F04 followed by 4 beeps
It is a good sign that he is coming back, he should check the appliance with side panels off and a good light so he can really see where this water is coming from
I cannot imagine him charging more money – he sounds honourable and close to the truth of the matter

    Re: Bosch KGV33NW20G going warm

I would not do that !
What if refrigerant level was low?
Compressor ends up cycling on its temp. cut out ?
What you should get then is the appliance switching off for say 2 hours whilst compressor cools down followed by fridge staying on for maybe 6 /7 hours .
Even though gas levels low,the extended on time cools everything eventually even causing excessive frost in fridge
Eventually compressor overheats again and everything defrosts partially in freezer and fridge items warm up
Need to get some gauges on that compressor to see what is going on
If that module does not work will you ever use it again???
