Always useful to know status of aquastop
Dry & clean ? I doubt it if pump continued when door open??

That entrance is sealed is it not ?
If you could get that seal perfect then nothing can get out logically speaking
Just out of interest why not run it tilted back say put a 20/30 mm wide length of something under it
Would at least tell you if water was coming from inside or forming outside the condenser???

A partial refund I doubt will appease her unfortunately !!
You will lose her as a client anyway even if you do that ?
You have done everything expected legally . She did not give you the opportunity to fix the supposed ‘ not washing properly ‘ fault after you left so she let you off basically
    Can’t win em all

your appliance is 10 years old so now is a good time to replace it ?
Your are between a rock and a hard place though? I would be tempted at €40 for that module – it is cheap

All you can do is get an expert from this site in your local area
The temperature is controlled electronically by a sensor that relays the information to a control unit that switches the cold off
That system is clearly failing so either a sensor or control unit or even both!
An Engineer will test these for you

Does it have a module to control the defrost cycle or a mechanical timer ?

well I still think the pump gets hot and cuts out then floods the area causing the leak
Later the pump will clear some water as it cools down and resets but cuts out again and process repeats
Have you priced a pump ? If cheap then worth a try? Read back and make sure you have covered everything I mentioned, maybe you forgot something????

Is that one of those motors that has the stator completely covered in plastic ?
Doesn`t even look like a motor apart from the fact there is a fan stuck on the end of a steel shaft?
Has a twinned plug assy (rather than normal L/N supply)
If so I do not remember them being much more than 24V dc motors so supply is good and motor is faulty

Re: Drum turns but doesn’t spin

an out of balance sensor is not going to stop it washing just spinning
It is motor or module but if you have changed brushes 3 times then I am guessing MOTOR !!
Maybe worth getting that motor out again rechecking brushes and the commutator of the motor
That should be blown out/cleaned and the copper segments checked and cleaned with a ‘commutator stick
If the commutator is worn down then it will chew up the carbons
The fact that it goes through a cycle makes me think module is ok but not necessarily so consider everything carefully

    Re: Database

    brilliant thanks sudeep
I have a database at the moment which is struggling because we have about 3000 clients listed with approx 4000 various jobs over the last say 2 years and if 3 or 4 of us are using at the same time from different locations doing searchs then it pops up a message saying we have exceeded 75,000 requests and locks us out for a while .
We have never been happy with it as it is slow to get around and if clients waiting for Invoices in the shop then can look a little unprofessional.
Would Rapport cope with this ? We have 5 Engineers but I would like another and really 3 operatives could be using at the same time in a busy period
Really appreciate your feedback on this

I am 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure that the fault will indeed end up being a module but my limited knowledge tells me that when the float switch or aquastop as I call it is activated then it continues working even when you open the door of the dishwasher ?
So then logically that means the pump gets a direct supply bypassing door micro switch so that test will not suffice there ? As for the on off switch I will get back to you on that – need to check !!

    Re: Bosch WTE84307GB-05 tumble dryer

the lift pump has to be cutting out (maybe it has a thermal cut out )
By process of elimination, that is my diagnosis
You have done the due diligence with cleaning and levelling etc
The only thing left to do if you are still not convinced is run it with panel off and sit there and watch/listen for pump operation
Does it get noisier etc then cut out ?
Have you actually stripped that pump ??The bottom part looks like it clips off and could be a nice bit of fluff in there ??
