I found out the answer to this by accident whilst looking up parts for a different model. 173028- exactly what I want.

Thanks for your responses on this guys.

Does anyone have any info on what readings one can expect from the temperature probe? Am I right in thinking that the probe connects to s1/s2 on the pcb.

    Thanks for your help.

I just had one of these. As usual I relied upon the excellent service from our friends at EMW. All done and dusted and money in the till in 4 days.

    Well done Tony.

    Re: Neff fan oven elements

    Hi folks.

I have never had a problem getting these fans off. (I do lots of them).

Underneath the 10mm nut is a washer with a D shaped hole in the middle to suit the shaft of the motor. I have brazed one of these washers to the end of a redundant 1/4 inch drive socket. I was able to turn the surplus material off in my lathe but it could be done by filing.

    Method.
Remove 10mm nut . Lever off special washer. Squirt of WD. Leave couple of minutes. Using the special socket made in a socket handle, lock the motor shaft in position. Spin fan with finger ( sometimes tight at first but always gives in the end). Slide fan off.

Where it will fit, I always use ELE9036 (CDSL) as a replacement. Not been back to one in 2 or more years.
For the older models and the small oven I always use the genuine part, easier fit and I dont have any issues with reliabilty.

Better give it up and find something else to do then.

38years in the trade was a waste of time.

    Hi Andy,

I was very impressed with the Knowledge and attitude of the site manager, who had gleaned much from his one day course at the local technical college.

He is a conscientious chap, doing his job correctly, unfortunately with incorrect kit.

    Thanks once again ,

    Mike

Re: Pat Test Failure Whirlpool ADP4501/5

    Hi Folks.

My “case” turned out slightly different. On reading the instruction card for the pat test it seems that the parameters are set too low, ie the “Touch Tester” pass was set at 1.0ma, far too low.
This pat tester can be pre programmed but it needs an access code that the site manager does not have, nor does he have the authority to change the settings.
I will be writing to the school to advise them to consult a member of the IEE for advice. Suffolk County Council should have one of them behind a desk somewhere.

Thanks for all your Help folks.

    Re: Candy DBQ131 Washing Machine

    Hi Folks.

    Any GIAS guys out there?.

I looked at the part number Chris suggested, but CDSL quote this as 270mm long.

I have already tried to fit a Performa heater ELE1111, which is about 265 mm but thats to long, it seems to foul on the outer tub at the front. I dont think its heater bollard catching, I think its just too long. Anyone got any parts listing for this model?.

I went back to the machine today to check for serial numbers that CDSL want, but its got no numbers at all, but the control panel definately states that its a DBQ131.

    Many Thanks in anticipation,

    Mike

    Re: Bosch F21 code

I had this problem quite recently, a search on WAE24363 will reveal.

I scapped machine in end, had been heavily used, not worth spending money on although not that old. Had been used in a pub and was a wreck.

I do have a control module for sale if needed.

    Hi Garn.

Thanks very much for your response.

Please could you elaborate a bit on this. If the equipment has the original factory fitted cable with fitted plug, why is the cable length relevant and how can this be incorporated into the auto test of the pat tester?

    Regards,

    Mike
