sounds like the first format made by belling of Enfield these have a rectangular panel which has a small pcb and the mains terminal undo the screws and carefully lower the panel to reveal the element teminals and a flat head
bolt the only fixing. the side panel screws at the front are hidden by a cover trim you can prize this off from the bottom but shouldnt need to

is the red indicator light showing if not check the timer is set to manual. on some cookers the timer controls only the main oven if no luck TURN OFF AT MAINS and starting at the mains terminal With the multimeter check for continuity through to the element and fan motor

i had one do this and i told them i would simply add it to the bill which they agreed to this was not on parts just labour new boss’s idea not popular with thier staff

Had a letter just before christmas from an agent i have delt with off ond on for last 10 years or more stating that due to the economic climate they will charge 10 per cent on value of work we do for them

must remember to put 10 per cent on thier invoices lol

has anybody else heard of this?
