Just a follow up on this one, it turned out that there was apiece of paper wedged in the circulation pump impellor, So it looks like the module takes a resistance reading from the drain pump AND the circulation pump, It took a while to fix, but I now have a very happy customer 😀 and I have learnt something new with these dishwashers.

Hi Dave, just an update on this query, it was an insulation fault on the dryer element, as usual only showed when the element got hot. Regards Neil

Hi Dunston, if you send me your email I can send you the manual, But I am with you on the fact that IF the dryer element had come on without the dryer fan running it would of tripped out the safety thermostat’s on the dryer housing. I have had them trip out if the fan gets slightly blocked. Regards Neil

Thanks Dave, the photo the customer sent was not that brilliant and the “5” and “6” look very similar, got the manual, I will put it somewhere safe, Looks like F15 error with the dryer element I am sure I will get blamed for the element failing/going down to earth, Ho Hum a service engineers life for me.

The Enr No. should be SMS46II01G/74, I have just powered up the valve from the plug from the module and it opens fine. Any other thoughts ?? Regards Neil

Thanks Dave that the sort of route I was looking at, the pump is pumping out fine, I assume the board reads the resistance when the pump has cleared the water. I hate throwing spares at a job, I suppose I will have to quote for worse case scenario and see what the customer wants to do. Many Thanks Neil
