ParticipantHi Dave,
I have recently sent a Hotpoint Dishwasher module to QER a couple of times with not a great result. It may well be repairable as we have just lost supply to the element. BUT how much time do I spend on an old appliance ?? Many Thanks NeilJuly 5, 2024 at 7:19 am in reply to: Blomberg LR1285410W Washer Dryer beeps twice and does not start #490709neilbow
ParticipantHi Dave,
yes you are correct wrong board has been ordered and fitted even though I sent picture of part number (from module)to my office we still managed to muck up everybody denies responsibility. 🙂 new board arriving today. I was not aware of the diode issue at D7 I will check the old module back at the workshop, at least I have learnt something new about these boards. Many thanks NeilJuly 2, 2024 at 7:22 am in reply to: Blomberg LR1285410W Washer Dryer beeps twice and does not start #490707neilbow
ParticipantHi Folks, Checked door lock that is okay.
The part number I took from the original board but the model details are LR1285410W Prod.7165141100 S/N 18-800245 -01. I have not checked for a short on D7 ??.
I have fitted a second board and the appliance still has the same issue.
Many Thanks Neilneilbow
ParticipantHi Dave, yes that is a possibility I have downloaded a wiring diagram, I will go back and do some more investigations. Thanks Neil

ParticipantHi, no it errors out as soon as you press start, I have checked element continuity and insulation and that checks out fine. The motor is a synchronous Motor with no carbon brushes. Thanks Neil:cool:

ParticipantHi everyone,
just an update on this issue, yes Stratfordgirl was correct I pulled off the condenser box and the filter in the rear of the tub was partially blocked, why this throws up this error code is beyond me, AND why they put a filter where it cannot be easily accessed as it is always going to block up is also beyond me.
Many Thanks everyone. NeilApril 19, 2024 at 7:34 am in reply to: Hoover H3WS495TACE-80 (Ser 31010781 2113 0004) New module in Demo Mode #490131neilbow
ParticipantGood Morning, emailed Gias tech services and they replied “The appliance is in demo mode, press and hold the spin and stain/rapid buttons at the same time for 7 seconds, this will remove it.”

ParticipantHi, I have already done an insulation test on the dryer element hot when it aborts the drying cycle and it checked out fine.

ParticipantHi everyone, just an update on this issue, the appliance works fine on wash it is just on the drying cycle that it throws up this error code, it goes through the heating cycle, occasionally spinning, condenser valve working and drain pump all working, any thoughts anybody.

ParticipantYes I had a Siemens machine that would only reset this way the standard turn to position 6 and turn one click to the right etc etc would not work

ParticipantThis normally works for me
- Turn off the machine (dial to 0)
- Open the door
- Turn control knob to position 1
- Close the door
- Turn off the machine
- Turn the control knob to the six-o-clock program, which is spin
- Press the option down button and keep it pressed (This is the button left of the display)
- Turn the control knob one position left to seven-o-clock (empty/pump out program)
- Release the option down button
- Turn off the machine.
Regards Neil
