Pipemajor,
The Zanussi-type ELE3460 should fit.

ModeratorRe: hygena dishwasher not filling with water
I’m afraid the ‘Select’ part doesn’t really help.
If you open the door and look down the sides of the door there should be a rating plate with a model number. This should start with AHY, ADP or APL as Dave says above.Craig

Phil.
Part number is 31X5124 and MFI should be able to send you one for around £5.00 + VAT + P&P.

I think you’re right about it being a Brandt as the 600472 certainly is.
Unfortunately I don’t have any info on this machine at all 😥 but we have had a few duff PCBs on the other type.
Someone should have some gen on this so hold off on changing the board until you get a better answer.Craig

You’re not going to believe this but I just read a book with that joke in it last night 😯
It was quite good. The Jester by James Patterson. It’s a strange world right enough ❗

ModeratorRe: Fire!
I’ve never even heard of another module going up in flames. I put this one down to a freak occurrence that was the result of just the right faults developing in just the right place at the right time with the right conditions. Or wrong conditions etc. depending on your point of view.
As far as I was aware Blomberg was some foreign-type telly channel or something like that 😕

ModeratorRe: Fire!
I had a look at the one that went on fire I was at.
The water had been getting sprayed over the module during the spin cycle and was running in between it and it’s casing. This must have been happening for quite a while ’cause the whole card was sodden.
The front of the board went on fire while I was watching it, giving off the most awful, acrid smoke you ever did smell and the back of the board looked as though it had been gently simmering for a good while beforehand.
I think the machine ended up getting exchanged due to the amount of knacked parts in it.Craig

Yup,
APM8512 (servis built) that had been water damaged from leaking bearings. Put it on for a test and the thing damn near exploded right in from of me. The machine kept going as well until I yanked the plug out ❗Craig

Sounds like a 2-switch slider assembly for an integrated hood. If you fully extend the canopy and remove the filter you should find the model number on a white sticker, possibly of the format APP****.

ModeratorRe: Advertising Scam
I find that ignorance, my speciality, works wonders.
Them: “Hello, can I speak to…”
Me: “Sorry, I can’t hear you very well.”
“No, I still can’t make you out”
“Could you repeat that, please?” x 4
“No, you can’t speak to anyone else”
“Could you leave your number and I’ll try and get someone else to call you back later?”Craig

ModeratorRe: WATCH OUT!!!!
Alex,
All parts sent are assumed fitted – they get billed.
Whether or not the customer receives the part, or if they refuse a repair, the parts are charged to you. Every 👿 Haier 👿 ordered part should be marked up and claimed for regardless of the outcome of the job.
With regard to finding a different fault with the appliance, see kheath’s post above about requiring a separate FSR: one for the modification they’ve sent you to do and one for the actual fault with the appliance. I think this is a fair point that he makes.Craig

ModeratorRe: WATCH OUT!!!!
About all you can do is check your invoices carefully – the parts should be easily identifed as they will have 👿 Haier 👿 as the order number.

To be fair to Goatboy you did mention dishwashers at the end of your original post, so he wasn’t really going off-topic 😉

ModeratorThe part number for the motor is 481236158334, but I would advise having an engineer out to check that’s what is actually required as these things retail at over £100.
