There was a question mark at the very end of Mark’s original post (not related to the earthing incident) and in all likelihood it’s been left in by accident when Martin chopped off the rest of the text. Simple mistake.

Mark – is it possible the customer has built up a static charge from rubbing the surface with a cloth? Perhaps the charge is being held in one of the components and not discharging when you touch the casing
Might also explain why the buggers keep blowing if the PCB is getting charged

it doesn’t appear to be one of CDA’s
it’s coming up as a chinese manufactured appliance with no consistent brand – seen it listed as Proline, Galanz and Shine(Hk) Development Ltd

We see a lot of Space Kitchens stuff and haven’t come across those model numbers before – have a look at the machines just in case they’ve made up some numbers for their brochure Jim, as it might be some internal reference they’ve got on there

Ovens are usually in the format HM595 or HI75 or similar
Dishwashers are DW655FI or TDW602 and so on.
I’ve not seen numbers like yours before: they’re not Kuppersbusch model numbers either
