ParticipantRe: 2x Beko DC7041W – No Heat & No Drum rotation
Hi,
Don’t know this machine, and others may have alternative ideas, but for the No Heat one I’d check for an open circuit thermostat in the heating circuit. For the Push to Start one it could be that the start windings in the motor itself have broken, should be able to check for open circuit coil.

ParticipantRe: Hoover HNMF 2805 A80
Hi,
I know this is an old thread, but does anyone have the info on how to change the fridge sensor available? The machine I’m looking at is an L80 rather than an A80 but I assume the procedure would be pretty much the same?
Thanks, Jon

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint CTD00P Fans
Thanks for the info. The one I have is vibrating badly so I will replace it with the shorter one now I know it’s ok to do that.
Thanks again,

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint CTD00P Fans
Hi,
I have a CTD00P in which the impeller fan is black and ~100mm in length. Can’t find anything matching that anywhere. Does anyone know where to get this length impeller fan, or whether the smaller fans that are available are a correct replacement? Service Ref number on the machine is 95313490000 608050037
Thanks,

For the record I fitted the correct part number module today and everything now works fine 🙂
Would’ve been right stumped on this one if I hadn’t asked !
Many many thanks, Jon

OWI is Optical Water Indicator in whirlpool language I believe. Otherwise known as the turbidity sensor.

Lights were flashing. Holding down the P key didn’t reset, just kept flashing. I’m confident everything was transferred across to the new module ok. I still have the original and there is nothing obvious still attached which I should have moved across.
I’ll be going back to fit the correct module this time on Monday. Will be interesting to see if that clears the problem.
Thanks, Jon

Nope. Just double checked and it seems I’ve foolishly ordered and fitted the wrong one 🙁
I’ll order the correct one and give it a try.
Many thanks, Jon

ParticipantRe: F-Gas required for ANY fridge work?
Many thanks for the clarification. Yes, I’m only doing domestic and wouldn’t touch the sealed refridgerant parts at the moment anyway. I have arranged for some training before I do that.

Sorry, forgot to add that a pan was on the ring and it’s a suitable pan for induction. It’s one the owner has used for some time on this hob.
