If he is from Leeds, I haven’t a clue who he is……

Re: Electrolux Aqualux EW1200i – not draining during dry cyc

Drain hose crushed by the tight installation is always a good bet, as is the sink coupling clogging up where the drain hose joins in. If it’s hanging down all sorts of things from the sink can accumulate.

You will observe a centre seam down the casing sides – the rear half can be removed by undoing 4 or 5 screws around the lower casing and four under the lid.

Power off if removing any panel.

Jackson bought Parnell. Creda bought Jackson. Hotpoint bought Creda. Indesit bought Hotpoint. Then the world as we knew it ended.

Re: Ariston ADL120FR Washing mach bearing kit-determining mo

Your third picture shows the worst – the shaft is stepped in and is now undersized where the bearing will sit. It will therefore be loose inside the new bearing, so the seal won’t work.

    Unlucky…….

Have the polystyrene packing pieces been removed from the sides of the drum? Tip the machine back and see if there are two polythene bag ends hanging down.

It’s an RH thread. Most of us use heavy duty automotive torx bits for the job – the extended ones are useful as they allow you to give the bolt head a good clout, helping to shock it free. It’s Loctited on as well as being tight.

    Good Luck,

Not sure about the need for all the subterfuge. I have a suspicion that the odd Mods Forum title rolling on the XML is no bad thing – the thin white(goods) line is doing its job. Maybe we are watching you! Keeps ’em all on their toes. 😀

Re: Error code 9 on SmartDrive 703

F+P only offer schematics for the overall machine – there are not layouts for the actual control boards. What I can tell you is that it’s a DC, 3 phase motor with 42 poles. By selecting and ganging together different combinations of poles, the different speeds for the machine are achieved.

This is the “How long is a piece of string” question……..

    Water level control faulty.
    Dodgy wiring.
    Bowl not re-engaging.
    Pump fault.
    Rotor sensor fault.
    Motor fault.
    Motor board faulty.
    Lid switch faulty.
    OOB switch faulty.

    Re: Test Modes GW601

You can test the balance and lid switches, the water valves and the pump.

Enter diagnostics (wash temp down, power on).

Lid switch ok – 12 minute light should be on.
Manually activate OOB switch – 6 minute light should come on.
Pump – pressing Regular Cycle will start or stop the pump.
Wash temp down will operate the cold valve.
Wash temp up will operate the hot valve.

There is no test function for the motor.

Re: indesit D63 fill level problems and non dissolving table

Your description of your current problem suggests that the pump is not actually running – the element is normally cooled by the spray of water from the rotors.

Just as well you’ve got the extended warranty then 😀 .
