Diplomat’s own number is 46962690726 – drop the 4 gives you the SMEG number.

Suspect you’re right – it’s difficult with remote diagnosis, we can’t see what you’re working on. Time for pro help? Sometimes you’ve just got to bite the bullet and do it.

    Good luck,

The belt usually leaves a track around the drum to line up to…..

Tension pulley isn’t wobbly is it?

Take the soap drawer out – there should be a little slider switch bottom left of the opening. Small screwdriver required to flip it across.

Bearings 6205 and 6206 should do it, along with seal C00082696. Check drum shaft for any signs of wear or damage – replacement involves an entire drum assembly.

Service manual – even we can’t get service manuals 🙄 .

    Re: Testing Thermostat

Thermostat should be normally closed, therefore resistance near as spit zero ohms.

Without the model number I can’t advise which stat kit you will need, work it out from the link attached:

There is a safety cut-out on top of the heater box which can trip. Every one of these I’ve ever been to has ended up being the computer board………

I see……… Having decided that neither Arsenal or Bangor City are capable of winning anything this year, this watercooled wosser now powers the “Matrix” avatar does it? Presumably whilst sucking the life out of UKW (Oo, err)?

    Very interesting……..

    Re: Indesit WG1130T Drum Noise

I suspect the answer is in the first post – the “cylinders” separating are the friction dampers, to control the drum’s movement. If they have come apart, the friction material will almost certainly have been lost – replacement is the only solution.

P/no is C00055039 – I’d replace both to be on the safe side. An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for prices and ordering.

It would make a nice change from them ripping through the chassis plates!

    Power off, of course,

Knob inner (the bit under the knob) is p/no 1247420-00/1.
The cam (Which the inner engages in) is p/no 1247996-00/0.

An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk if you wish to order any of the above parts.

Power off if doing this job yourself.
