The rest of the model number would help us a lot – check round the door surrounds for a rating plate.

Hold on a mo….. You say it “just goes round” – do you mean the timer knob constantly rotating? If so, run the machine again, wait for it to fault (knob clunking round) and count the flashes form the power lamp. It may well go 1-2-3-4-pause-repeat for instance. Give us the count and we may be able to be more precise with a diganosis.

    Re: Diplomat ADP8322 overflow

Clean water pooling would suggest that the inlet valve is weeping into the machine. Dirty water would suggest back fill from the sink coupling of the drain pipe. The drain hose should be raised above the height of the connection point as water cannot flow up hill.

However, unless the machine fills to overflowing, this will not leak into the downstairs flat. I would check the fill hose couplings as soon as possible.

You have a problem with the water level control, or possibly the heating element.

This is a complex appliance, I would suggest pro help – click the link below. Power off if investigating further.

Looking up into the motor, the wiring (from the left) should go Red, Blue, Yellow.

The only coding faults relevant to this thread are those displayed when the “Hold” and “Slow Spin” leds are lit. The code you have listed is not a valid one, so gawd knows what that’s about – unless I read it backwards, which is the classic Out of Balance Switch failure……. That’ll stop your motor for sure. Lots of posts in this forum.

The codes work left to right on the display panel, but need to be supplied right to left …….

    Re: Electrolux esl624 not filling

Almost certainly an IWMS problem, Lee. The pressure shut off on the inlet valve is being held shut by the “overfill” situation caused by the IWMS. You can clear out the transfer pipes across the lower front of the machine as they do get clagged up, but the problem will almost certainly be a blockage in the IWMS – if you can see black sludge low down in the matrix it will have to be replaced.

P/no is 1524624-03/6, about £55 from memory. An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for confirmed pricing and ordering.

BTW, do not put your finger on the valve with the power on… Being polite, it’s bloody dangerous…..

    So, power off, please.

If it’s got “S” arms, it’s a newer d/w, so shouldn’t the label be engraved into the top edge of the inner door panel?

00001001? Size error. Usual cause is the display module plungers not being located correctly. Remove and relocate, ensuring the switches are aligbed correctly.

    Power off, of course.

Always worth checking out “Challenge” – one of these cable channels that the youngsters seem to like. They’re into Gladiators at the moment 🙄 .

And thus it begins – for the indies, I hope that this becomes a range of “specced and approved” machines which we can sell with a straight face to the public, offering value for money to the customer and profitable service to us.

18 months ago, most of us wouldn’t have believed it.

    A beginning – I love it.

That’s why these Penguin “games” are so popular – they won’t let us on telly – we’d embarass the humans 🙁
