    Re: electric whirlpool oven error

USA model chaps – it ain’t going to be on the tech disc…………

Best bet with this Teraya might be to take it over to http://www.repairclinic.com or http://www.applianceguru.com . The latter is barking mad as we say in England, but they both know their stuff and are US based.

We manage to support an Australasian forum, but we’ve never really pulled in any US technicians to get that side going.

Post back when you get some results – I for one would like to know what happened.

    Good luck and regards,
    Penguin45.

    Re: Neff Cooker Hood

Can you drop the filter covers and let us know the model number, Paul?

Commonest cause of this is overheating of the motor(s) due to extreme blocked-up-ness (filters/ducting clagged).

Re: Indesit WIE127UK – Just got very NOISY!

The drive belt is elasticated, so should be self tensioning – they do stretch over time as you know from the first one. Overloading the machine can cause premature stretching; drum bearing wear or loose pulley can cause the belt to run off through misalignment.

The one in the shop is for an earlier series of machines. You require p/no 1249675-12/3 – an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get things moving for you.

    Oz,
We can’t for a variety of reasons, walk you through it – there’s a sticky at the top of the forum outlining why. If you’re not sure, you must get pro help.

By way of a clue though, it looks like this:
    http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … cts_id=315

    Power off, of course.

    Almost certainly a door lock failure. P/no 4819 280 48012 – there is I think a pattern alternative which might save a few bob – Dave’ll know! He’s always right, BTW. 😀
