There’s a moving lever inside the door lock which seems to break sometimes and therefore doesn’t work the switch.

    Re: Hotpoint Ultima DF32

The fill matrix under the left hand cover of the machine is becoming clogged up, as well as the transfer hose from the matrix to the sump. Water instead of running into the machine is being diverted into a side chamber which actuates the shut off on the water valve.

The problem gets more regular as the build up increases.

Power off if you’re going to investigate yourself. :plug:

    Check this for a start:

Also bear in mind that the two long transfer pipes running across the front and round to the sump clog up as well.

Power off if you are investigating yourself.

62 doesn’t appear to be a valid code. Hang fire, Alexa should be back any time now and will be able to advise you further.

I think you’ve got it yourself there – computer board has lost the plot.
Part number is 1604201 – an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.com will sort out pricing and availibility.

As this is likely to be a high value component which will require configuring in order to function correctly, a professional repair may well be your best option. Check repairs@ or Directories for a UKW repairer in your area.

Re: Zanussi TD520 drive belt replacement

Drive belt is p/no 125528-10/0, about £8.00 for the gen item, so don’t bother with a pattern one. spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will be able to supply for you.

Fitting involves breaking the machine in half – patience required more than complicated.

A local repairer will certainly charge you for an hours work, rates vary widely across the country, so you should ascertain that at the point of booking, should you go that way.

Check the repairs@ or Directories options for UKW repairers in your area.

Power off if you do this yourself.

    Re: AEG L16810 Not drying

Hmm – looking more like control circuit problems – possible board fault. This machine uses “fuzzy logic” as parft of the dryer control – it is possible that the absence of soggy laundry is not letting the temperature gradient be established. Try “AutoDry” with some laundry might be the best next step.

Re: hygena classic 610 fan oven

MFI and this site can supply spares for these machines, but (once again) 610 denotes a range of similarly styled machines, not the actual model. It is normally neccessary to undo the security screws, slide the oven forward and read the label on the top of the oven. It should start AHY—-.

    Re: AEG L16810 Not drying

From the front of the machine, the sensors are the thermistor, 110c thermostat and 150c safety stat. This last one should have a little red pip on it, as it is a manual reset type. If you have not split the wiring off it, you may be getting a back reading from the rest of the circuit.

We don’t advise people to test with the machine live, so for the benefit of others who may read this thread, please use extreme caution.
