Yup, no heat in the time allowed. Heater is a tube-type situated under the tub, so you have to pull it out and remove the bottom cover for access. Heater should read approx 25 ohms if it’s working. Connector at heater occasionally burns out.

If the heater has failed, we will need the actual model number of the appliance in order to identify the replacement part.

    Power off before going in.

Oldie – can’t find anything listed for it anymore. Broken wiring at the door pivot point would be the most obvious thing to look for.

    Power off first.

Wpl flow meter is a passive device – only two wires.

Take the brushes off and look. If they’re down to a few millimetres, replace them. If not, it’s usually the pcb at fault.

Test meter – resistance test is the only way you’ll find out.

Re: TEKA UN-DW655FI Power but not working

It’s a Haier-built Chinese machine. The lights indicate that the tray under the machine is full of water and it is now in flood protection mode.

Drag it out, power off, towels down and tip to one side to drain the undertray. System should re-set. If you get a repetition, find the leak…..

    Oxidisation on contact pads/bad connection.
    Reed switch failure.
Possible pcb fault, but never seen it myself.

Re: DISHWASHER PLASTIC DOOR BRAKE & BANDS

12 hours and 14 minutes is the answer to the question not posted on the forum………… 😀

OK, power off, side panel off. I’m doing the left hand side – envisage the brake block as a cake with a slice out. Orientate it so that the missing slice is aligned 12 – 3 o’clock, with the tongue at the top. Slide the block into the lower part of the vertical chassis rail and push home until the tongue clicke into place. Slide the brake band through and round, and hook onto the hinge hook, With the door closed, attach the spring and using a very stout hook or loop, haul the spring up and onto the support hook on the vertical chassis rail. I’d wear work gloves for that last bit – the spring is very powerful and the metal work is very sharp.

I told you what the error code means. A call to Hoover for a service visit was all that was required.

As far as I can work out, that part number only fits SMART12 ACT machines for the UK. Can’t find anything relating to model number given – got a product code? Starts with 3.

Original post is in Trade Spares – people seem to use that forum to track down spare parts……
