You should now have a “sandwich” – the element is between the panels. Take pictures/make diagrams of all wiring before removing it as we can’t help you if you drop a stitch.

Remove the whole assembly, then you can access the screws to separate it.

It’s a false glitch caused by the power board on certain serial numbers. Power board needs to be replaced to make it go away.

PCB – burnt out solder joint is a strong possibility. That said, the start time should be correct and adjust later.

Re: Bosch SGV5303GB – drain problem – blocked pipe?

Sink coupling, I presume? Check that first. If the drain hose simply falls away from the coupling it is quite possible that you have a fat blockage in the drain hose itself due to back flow from the sink.

If you are certain that the drain pump is running, there is unlikely to be a blockage in the pump chamber itself (You can check – remove the cover in the sump to reveal the impellor). I have had a few instances over the years of foreign bodies in the matrix – glass is particularly awkward to spot. Power off, left hand side panel off to observe.

It’s a Bosch-based machine. A read of THIS THREAD will probably help you.

From memory. you remove the entire back panel of the oven from the rear, then split it to access the element.

    Inspired design. :rolls:

    Power off first of course.

You’re falling into the trap already…….. This is supposed to be a cheap “set you on” to keep you going whilst you sort things out – now you’re spending money on the damn thing after one wash!

If it had chugged away for a few months with it’s (at least) “D” class rating, fair enough, but you really mustn’t spend any real money on it.

There should be a sealing ring – p/no 754130914. The nut is fitted with the flat side down.
