    Re: hotpoint wma66

Possibly not heating – temperature rise not detected within the prescribed time limit. You will need to check the element and the thermistor (sensor).

Do nothing yourself without pulling the plug first.

Or you can check in repairs@ukwhitegoods.co or Directories for a UKW engineer in your area.

You could try emwelec.co.uk about a possible repair – quote the board numbers to see if ot’s one they can do.

Have you rotated the motor against the spring to put tension on the belt?

Re: CREDA IW160D Power Button won’t work

    Now we know our ABC…..
    Evening CM,
This is almost certainly a power supply failure to one of the boards. Power board is c. £70; control board is an awful lot more – quite seriously, I’d get some pro help – VERY awkward to diagnose correctly and expensive if you get it wrong.

Almost certainly the thermostats at the back. Kit 1701583, in shop@ukwhitegoods.com.

If you cannot perform the diagnosis or are unsure about fitting, contact repairs@ukwhitegoods.com or look in the Directories section for a UKW engineer in your area.

    No, GP.
Brackets would simply transfer excess vibration through the cabinets and work tops. Check that all four feet are in full contact with the floor and empty the filter – this can be critical to the operation and longevity of the machine.

    Re: Top Loading Dishwasher?

Homark used to do a compact toploading dishwasher which you could inset into the work surface or mount on drawer runners to hide in the cupboard. Don’t know if they still do it though.

    Colin,
The flood protection system has tripped – the undertray of your machune will be full of water. Draining it will reset the computer, but you still have to find the leak.

    Re: Hmmm.. I wish

My Uncle Arthur was a GPO exchange engineer, and retired as the computerised exchanges came on line. He did another nine years as a consultant repairing the remaining mechanical exchanges, as they hadn’t trained any youngsters due to the advent of the digital exchanges. He made a bloody mint and retired to Spain.

Ideas that work? How about the fella who cooked up the Jetsytem? Let’s face it, it’s the only gimmick that works! Hope he did all right. 😀

Push the green button at the back and the rear suspension drops to the floor – marvellous. Just walk in with stuff.
