Most of these you need to set “half load” and “time” to operate the dryer.

    Paul,
FP is failure to drain in the specified time. It is very likely that an object has got through the filter and jammed the pump itself. The 5p piece and the Kirby grip keep washing machine engineers employed all over the world! 😆

If you are not sure of your abilities, stick up your postcode and hopefully one of UKW’s engineers will be able to help you.

Do nothing without pulling the plug first.

    Tim,
The undertray is flooding. Tipping the machine drains it, but does not solve the problem – you have find the leak.

If you are not confident to do this, stick your post code up and hopefully one of UKW’s engineers will be in your area.

Do nothing without turning the power off first.

Re: Proline EF 7000 oven element

As far as I can tell, it’s part number 76×3719. Dave Conway should be able to sort one out for you as I can’t see it in Shop@.

Failing that, you can contact Comet Accessories on 0870 6052020, but brace yourself for the price!

They don’t need the extras Ken, they’ve got the cushion of the Company – why have a reality check?

We should still go get them though…… 😀

    Ken…
It’s a fascinating thread – how should we SPEND the subscribers money? And we’re not – we’re working out ways to save us all money (which is brill!). Putting it in a rainy day slush fund is admirable – but we ain’t spending any!

If we are a bit ahead at the moment, I would suggest giving a decent chunk to the tech bods who keep us on-line and maybe buying yourself a decent evening out (You’re going to say no if I say “Stick it in your pocket – you deserve it”).

When you get down to it, the influence we are projecting doesn’t need actual cash – a bit in reserve is always handy – but it’s not really what it’s about.

If some of our “benefits” come about from this thread, nothing really changes. Our day to day work continues at the open forum level – free to all – and maybe we can encourage others to join us at this level.

Personally, I think a fiver a month is too cheap, but how do you justify change when we’re still not coming up with SPENDING options!!

    Chris.

Front or top? Serial no. would be useful as well as a lot of these machines share model numbers but have different tank assemblies!

All designed to keep us on our toes……….

Bosch bought the Spanish Balay company some years ago; they were a typical mid-range manufacturer and are now used to produce Bosch’s lower priced products.

Bear in mind that these days you WILL get what you pay for.

Ensure that you are only drying half a load at a time. Bear in mind that heavy cotton fabrics will need extended drying. Also, if using drying sequence ensure that items have been spun at the fastest speed. Finally, the low heat setting won’t dry anything.

This is true of most combination machines, not specific to your own.

    Wayne,
The rotisserie is likely to be driven by a motor/gearbox assembly. The fan oven element is mounted on the rear of the oven box, behind the rear panel that you can see. Some elements are screwed in from the front, some are bolted from the back.

If you’re not sure what you’re doing, you must get professional help. Do nothing without pullimg the plug first.

    Hi Paul,
    P/no. 055858, list c. £49 + VAT from BSH. 😯

If you can get the number off the regulator, DC can probably source an alternative at a rather lower cost!

    Cheers,
    Chris.

Stress the informal nature of UKW – it doesn’t matter if you’re an engineer or a director, you’re treated exactly the same and have the same opportunities to contribute to and partake of the site.

Plus the obvious outlined above of course.

    Chris.
