ParticipantGot it ordered through Bradshaws today @ £66.21 as well. Check out Connect list price for the Leisure version though! That really is ridiculous.

Crusader is a name used by Hotpoint/Creda, so the relay will be one of theirs. The model number is normally on the control panel, on a label around the door opening and on a label on the back.I regret we won’t be able to give you an exact part number/price etc without it.

ParticipantP/no required is 6101651. I have checked a couple of the online suppliers and they all show it as a special order. List price is a bit scary @£115.13!
If you want it in time for Christmas, contacting Hotpoint/Creda Service is unfortunately your best bet.

ParticipantGenerally, elements either work or don’t. Your cooker if I recall correctly has a choice of cooking modes for the main oven – convection cooking through an element under the base of the oven, or forced air (fan assisted) by an element behind the rear panel.
If the oven undercooks in both modes, the culprit is more likely to be the temperature control.

ParticipantNeil,
The TOC should be in line with the carbon brushes, so a reading across them will include it.Please do NOT be tempted to connect the motor directly to the mains. It will instantly attempt to run at at least 15,000 rpm. Given that the motor is designed for electronic speed control (ie to get to spin GENTLY), you are very likely to blow it!
Plug the loom back into the motor and test from the digiboard end. If you have circuits through field, armature and tacho, it can only be the board.

ParticipantThe lubricant in WD40 is graphite, which is a form of carbon, which……………….. Conducts Electricity!
