A replacement door is only supplied as the inner and out panels together complete, so presumably you’re not meant to be able to dis-assemble it. It’ll be a snap-on or crimp-on fit, so a bit of levering if you are determined to split it.

Thermister fault. You may hit lucky and it will have fallen out of its clip on the dispenser, otherwise it’s it’s part of the pcb, which will need replacing.

Power off if doing this yourself.

These digital machines perform a self-diagnostic on start-up in the blink of an eye. If the motor brushes are worn out (or the motor is out of circuit in another way), the machine will abort the program. This does not produce an error code.

Article on brush motors may be found HERE.

Don’t know what it is about Edinburgh – they must have repairers; they’re just not on UKW. Leeds is nearly as bad……

It’s a bit unfair as it’s an Oz market product……..

Machine appears to be a Lofra-made one and the agents are:

Think Appliances Pty Ltd 58 Northgate Dve, Thomastown Vic 3074 Ph: (03) 9463 5111

Normally, with multifunction-ovens you select grill and put the temperature round to MAX – leave the door open, otherwise the thermostat will cycle as if cooking in oven mode. There is often a cooling fan activated, rather than a circulation fan.

Transfer pipe is probably blocked. Remove plug and left hand side panel. There is a black hose at the bottom of the fill matrix, which connects to the sump moulding. Remove and clean thoroughly, as well as the spigots where it connects.

Remove back panel inside oven to reveal the element.

    Power off first.

Yup, the one bit of the whole thing which we don’t have total control of is the bit between the warehouse and the vendor……… Not everyone shares our standards, unfortunately.

The machines are amazing. I’m an ISE agent and my normal patch is North Leeds and into the countryside a bit. I will go anywhere in Yorkshire to deliver a 10 machine on an evening, in the full confidence that I can install it, demonstrate it, have a chat and a cup of tea and not see the machine again for a long time.

Re: Smartdrive GW508K washing machine prob

Technically, it’s the motor stall error – dodgy/damp/chaffed wiring under the drum, at the star point or rotor position sensor – but – the later machines use the pump as part of the power supply. If ot overheats and cuts out, the machine will shut down until it re-sets.

See if it’s getting hot. In normal use, a pump will get warm, but not hot.

Power off – if it’s plugged in at the wall, the pump is live…………
