No, it isn’t a spare part. Many have tried with odd off-cuts of hose and jubilee clips, most fail 🙁 .

ParticipantRe: Belling fan oven – element stopped working?
Your cooker is a Belling 864ST, made in Italy by Merloni. THIS ELEMENT is the specific one for your appliance.
It is retained by two nuts on the rear of the casing, so back panel off for access.
Power off as well.

But you don’t tell them it’s for someone else, do you?
I keep an ISE AW23 in the van because I do occasionally make an instant sale.

ParticipantRe: Leaking diplomat ADP 8242
Take the side panel off amd observe – the water is probably coming from an “O” ring seal where the water matrix and the softener unit join together.

ParticipantRe: hotpoint fdw80
Let’s be a little logical here. The first action on starting a programme is to run the drain pump, followed by fill, then circulation and ultimately, heat. Unless that you mean that you switch on and it goes bang?
More precise info, please.

ParticipantRe: question?
Presumably they’re sourcing the stuff themselves and accepting a lower margin on the sale.
